This predator looks and is amazing! I can’t wait to see the movie and I am glad that they made the movie so good like it is. Can’t wait to see the next one!!
Director has come out and said since there’s different Predators this one is going to be from another sorta hemisphere. He wasn’t going for big and bulky like they have been making, he specifically said he wanted this to be a skinner more agile and fast predator. And with either the choice or lack of weaponry this Predator needed to be quick and brutal.
Such a great movie, especially after the disaster that was The Predator. This is a close 2nd behind the original predator for me, with Predator 2 being my 3rd favorite then Predators. Anybody else love the predator sound when it almost sounds like they're clicking their tongue rapidly?
This really pushes the boundaries on what I'd expect from predators. They're hunters but they usually hold back to a degree as to conserve and maintain the hunt. This is the species that had at minimum an entire planet specifically for capturing, relocating, and releasing prey to hunt on, the species that awarded a trophy to prey that bested them. This just feels like the predator is killing everything in sight with no regard, although that might just be the way it is edited.
I don't disagree, but at the same time, and I did not see the movie so forgive me for lack of complete understanding, it appears this is a more ruthless version of the Predator than previous versions (reserved but with more sophisticated armor, pack mentality with capacity to move independently). This one, which if we are going based on the times was years prior, looks to be more of a savage version, equipment is lower tech (compared to previous where they just had straight up bombs all the time), and it doesn't appear that this one was designed for combat of such a group compared to the others that were in high end armor versus the xenos. But I do agree...for a species capable of using a planet as a hunting ground, this was...certainly different. But this movie seemed to press the predator as a savage hunter, not a waiting stalker this time.
throught the movie they make a point to reiterate that the predator is interested in hunting things that are warriors/hunters by nature regardless of species. practically everything in this movie that dies is shown killing or hunting something else first. the scene where the predator is fucking all those french dudes up they are using the 2 main characters as chained bait to try and ambush the predator so he goes hard as fuck on them - especially after one of their crude traps that he saw earlier actually worked on him.
@@RuUanPropotentially a bad blood too, since he broke the rules of the hunt by using the cloak to disengage from the losing fight with the Older Brother, to go for the cheap backstab.
He's still young, and from the looks of it he's not had his first Xenomorph battle yet,if he did then he would've been a total boss if he was a blooded warrior
That's what I don't get about the people who bitch about Naru finally taking down the predator. Like, she might not have done as well or survived if this was the predator fresh off the ship. It got hurt by the bear, took some damage fighting the trappers, and had his own spear shoved through him by Taabe. That's going to take some pep out of his step.
I’ll never forget when a group of people walked out of that movie. That was the first and only time I’ve seen such rebellion 😂 My friends and I were so stoned, and it was still unbearable. We ended up skipping and watching Kingsman 2. Good memory.

5:50 - I didn't realize it until my 2nd watch but the brother literally shoots the arrows into the predator and gets in such close range to pull those SAME arrows out and shoots them AGAIN!
I mean some arrows were made to be shot and reused and some to break on impact, it’s a strategy when using a bow/arrow and weaker ones that can’t be reused are more common in wars where you don’t want the enemy to pick up ammo like nerf darts.
Goes to show how they wanted to show how skilled of a hunter he is, and not going off of some machismo bravado assumption just because he’s a man. Naru showed off how innovative she is with her knowledge of the plant life, the axe rope, and her plan of attack with the lion. Her brother shows he’s got the skills to back it up.
After losing her brother to the Predator I love how they decide to take a moment and let us the audience grieve with her. Everything stops in that scene as she struggles to wash the blood off her arms. It’s moments like these that make me appreciate this film even more.
Best Predator feature since the first two movies. Very well acted, great FX, and given a sheen of imaginative plausibility. Production values I would not have expected in a Hulu release.
I found it on par with the first (actually even better). The second was mediocre at best stuffed with tons of nonsense and bad green screen, that took away enjoyment.
It also kindve makes the other predator movies make sense. Why they were so obsessed with testing themselves against humanity because there was a legitimate danger and challenge there.
You have to take into account the guns of that period. Ball ammo, no rifled barrel, and super slow to reload. Those guns were pretty much useless even against bows and arrows a lot of the time.
@@eustace2c2 except for the fact that they were easier to use, easier to maintain, easier to learn and more powerful than any bow of the period. The fact that somehow every musket hit the shield or the fact that these experienced trappers wouldn’t know to shoot anywhere besides the shield is just bad writing.
Um... buddy. You need to get your eyes checked or actually pay attention to the scene. The Predator has gunshot wounds on his arm, shoulder and leg that he shown fixing up after he deals with the trappers. So no... they didn't just shoot his shield because if they only did that, he wouldn't have gunshot wounds on his body.

@@elasolezito ya outricked but by direction to fit the story. Predator would have killed this chick in literally one second if he was smart like the 1 from the first film.
Predators are honestly one of my favorite villains/creatures. The whole story of how they are just a bunch of absolute badasses searching the universe for worthy opponents to take on and use their remains as trophies and gain rank amongst each other is so simple yet could spawn 100s of movies and series of all the life forms they could take on. When I was a kid, Alien VS Predator was insane. It was like when they had Freddie VS Jason except with much much more interesting back stories for each species. Wasn’t the best movie but to watch two of my favorite alien badasses duel it out was awesome. I also love the respect the predators have for other so called “predators”. Of other species. It’s like they just have this mutual agreement that if you kick ass. They like you.
The constriction net was soo satisfying to see, we really got see what that thing can really do, this was probably my fav constriction net scene in all of the other predator movies and alien vs predator

@@cryptodino3roberts712 the net from older movie also work like in prey, i believe it depends on what predator wanted with the net, just works as net or to kill the prey.
It was impressive. But he could not kill a tiny girl on blood slowing narcotics. The whole point of such a medicine is to slow you down. Not do parkor in the forest, while a alien with an array of gadgets tries to kill you. Defeats the purpose
I like how despite having already lasers and guns the predator adapted his tech to fight honorably in close combat exept when he is surrounded by colonialists.

It's woke garbage, but not bad for woke garbage, and much better than most of the (unfortunately) terrible Predator sequels. If a movie could be made with this skill, but not about wokeness, it would be cool.

Warrior? It is an invincible tank taking it's time with doing one finishing move after another. It doesn't even have the need to move elegant.
No
Director has come out and said since there’s different Predators this one is going to be from another sorta hemisphere.
I agree 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🔥❤️
Predator 2 a million times better than this LMFAO
Out of all the Predators, this dude was the most savage and badass.
@@EndGameLooter9715 why is the predator behind that girl who is she?
So many man died to save her 🤦
no your just wrong
throught the movie they make a point to reiterate that the predator is interested in hunting things that are warriors/hunters by nature regardless of species. practically everything in this movie that dies is shown killing or hunting something else first. the scene where the predator is fucking all those french dudes up they are using the 2 main characters as chained bait to try and ambush the predator so he goes hard as fuck on them - especially after one of their crude traps that he saw earlier actually worked on him.
just a more feral and savage predator not like there arent any like that in other movies

Liked the fact that the predator sustained damage in almost all of his encounters
czcams.com/video/MOpvujT8JsI/video.html
He is a Young-blood.

5:50 - I didn't realize it until my 2nd watch but the brother literally shoots the arrows into the predator and gets in such close range to pull those SAME arrows out and shoots them AGAIN!
damn that was bad ass, didnt realize that
Bro was fr skilled
He did it twice actually ..if u look closely
I mean some arrows were made to be shot and reused and some to break on impact, it’s a strategy when using a bow/arrow and weaker ones that can’t be reused are more common in wars where you don’t want the enemy to pick up ammo like nerf darts.
Goes to show how they wanted to show how skilled of a hunter he is, and not going off of some machismo bravado assumption just because he’s a man.
Naru showed off how innovative she is with her knowledge of the plant life, the axe rope, and her plan of attack with the lion. Her brother shows he’s got the skills to back it up.
It was a very good Predator movie ! Love to see the second movie next year 💪🏻
After losing her brother to the Predator I love how they decide to take a moment and let us the audience grieve with her.
It was aight
Really shouldve been released to theatres tbh
That bear scene would have been even better but it is what it is...
Cómo se llama la película
Gotta love how all they aimed for was his shield. Didn't even shoot him once
czcams.com/video/MOpvujT8JsI/video.html
They did well vs him tbh, that final guy and her were awesome, and the doggo's perfect timing twice.
I love great prey movies and the impressive scene where Naru defeats the predator with all his might
Even the predator was lucky of not facing the wrath of John Wick, 5:21

I do love how the Pred got really interested in humans after the tribe got in some good wounds.
I'm just so happy they finally showed us the girl predators can't wait for the story to continue luv everything about the predator movie 💓 🎥
Gotta give it to those trappers, they had the predator on the ground for about two seconds. Not to mention they didn’t back down against it either.
Gonna shout out the trappers but not the Native Americans? They held their ground, wounded it more, and killed it. Shout out to them.
@@DestroyThoseThatDestroyUs yeah but they were the main characters so they were always gonna have the spotlight
@@blakebridges8989 Odd reasoning, but if that’s how you look at it. That’s kinda like not giving Black Panther for killing Killmonger although I really really wanted Killmonger to win. Or not giving Dutch credit.
@@DestroyThoseThatDestroyUs well the Indians are the main characters so they are already going to give a good fight against the Predator but the trappers are secondary characters and opposed to the Indians. So I expected them to be portrayed as cowardly and not really fight very well, so when they didn’t run and put a good fight I was impressed. That’s why I mentioned them specifically
Fools go in when even angels fear to thread.
The Predator movie none of us knew we wanted. I litterally thought Guillermo Del Toro made this movie. The Monster Make Up, CGI and other practical effects are that good. I checked to see who directed this move and it's Dan Trachtenberg! Cloverfield lane is a cool movie. But he really showed his chops in "the Prey" ...keep a eye on this director. Given the opportunity Dan has all the potential to create some real gold.
He also did one episode of Black Mirror
@@evilkiddododa9848 this movie will hopefully open some doors for him.
@Barney Weiss 😆 why is that?
Some cgi (spaceship, animals) and annoying modern tropes were the only minor problems, i loved this film considering the budget they had. The predator was slowing getting injured, tired and in the end outsmarted/tricked...
The original Predator is my favourite film. Finally, another one I truly enjoyed, and i hope they make more as good as this.
The constriction net was soo satisfying to see, we really got see what that thing can really do, this was probably my fav constriction net scene in all of the other predator movies and alien vs predator
That scene was so brutal it was awesome
But the net in the other movies is maimly just a net. This one has the pull down grinder function that leaves them just pulp. Another reason why i think this is beginning bad blood predator
I always thought it burned
@@cryptodino3roberts712 the net from older movie also work like in prey, i believe it depends on what predator wanted with the net, just works as net or to kill the prey.
The way this predictor killed his victims was with such swag. It was very enjoyable to watch him tear through them
It was impressive. But he could not kill a tiny girl on blood slowing narcotics. The whole point of such a medicine is to slow you down. Not do parkor in the forest, while a alien with an array of gadgets tries to kill you. Defeats the purpose
Exaggerated swagger of a deadly predator
But in the End he Has no Swagger
Welp, he wasn't a predictor enough to predictor his own death
So you’re a psychopath then?
I like how despite having already lasers and guns the predator adapted his tech to fight honorably in close combat exept when he is surrounded by colonialists.

The predator would've lost to her brother if it didn't camouflaged. That wasn't a fair fight
True point this is a feral predator so they don’t show much honor status. Had this been a more skillful one, the fight would be just as unfair because of the predator being unmatched in literally every other category.
I doubd the predator would lost anyways since the guy simply didnt had a weapon to take down that thing. Judgin by the movie that alien can take a lot of punichment and just keep goin (cuts, stabs, gunsshots (even to the head), even arm loss). Hes muscle and bonestructure semm to be so durable that he can allow himself to swag a bit. Unfotunatly he didnt know how hes own weapon works so he basically killed himself :)
the movie sucks, a woman who gets beaten by a man but kills a predator, she never gets weak, always this sealing in the movie. Horrible. She's always a badass, in the first movie Arnold was the fuck, then when he was left alone, then yes, he fucked up like hell, and he saw that he's a piece of shit. The latter is total ideology
@@Diego.lorenzetti What the difference? I mean both skinny hunter woman and Arnold are pretty much out of league when it comes to fight a predator in fist fight (Arnold was beaten pretty bad). So when streangth is irrelevant you trying to trick the creature. And you dont need to much weight to do tricks :) The girl in this paticular movie is fine
@Ardour is different, this movie has no strategy, this girl is not smart, this movie is totally an ideology. Arnold was strong in the beginning, but he knows that with force he cannot kill the predator in the end.
