This is the second of your interview videos, and both were very difficult to hear and understand the guest. I could hear you fine. Although I love the topic and your effort, please do more of a sound check before taping because not only is her sound quality awful, but it causes me to turn up the volume, then my ears get blown out when you come in loud and clear. I use a headset, which even makes it sound better. You might ask your guests to use a headset. Even the little inline mics on earbuds work better than no mic in an echoing room. Thanks.
I just passed the interview as an Assistant Server for Carnival Cruise Lines. Im just waiting for their job offer letter as what they've mentioned on the email they sent me. But I have couple of tattoos, 2 of them are visible. Do you think I can still be qualified to get the job? I'm really bothered.
What kind of background checks do Cunard do on the environmental officer? (Basic, standard, enhanced?) is this something the company also pays for or the individual?

It really depends on the role you’re applying for and the line you work for. Carnival U.K. officer roles are advertised throughout the year and this is how you apply. For junior crew roles it’s best to speak with your line manager and discuss your application, they’re usually done throughout the year. Almost every company has a minimum number of contracts you need to complete in order to be able to apply for promotion. Hope that helps :)
Would like managers/ directors have business class flights to and from ship? I saw one person mention this on a tiktok video that they get reallyyyy nice flights or is like the cheapest flight available?

Thank u for this, unfortunately not all manning agencies are helpful. Once a friend of mine was told that u don’t even need a degree nor diploma to work onboard and we were very discouraged abt it.
She’s might be a recruiter but she’s out of touch with reality. Nobody goes to sea just to work hard and see nothing. Unless they have been doing it for years and already know the reality. Everyone goes to sea to see the world. Then they find out it’s not what they imagined. A good interviewer will expect this and try and let the candidate know this is unrealistic.
follow the suggestions that are given in the vlog .... and relax.... you can practice by having someone 'role play' with you -- they ask the questions and you practice answering.
