Betfair Trading Strategy - How To Correctly Analyse Results

- I have a great training video for you Betfair traders today as Vince has kindly let me share my analysis of his Betfair trading strategy results. These results perfectly capture one issue I think Betfair traders face, when things go so well for so long that a downswing becomes very difficult to swallow.
Different traders will interpret these results differently and I think some would even stop trading their Betfair strategies.
I argue that it would be crazy to do that in this instance given past performance.

Great video again Martin and thanks to Vince for sharing, I see a couple of issues with the data in the spread sheet. The 1st thing I notice is there are no results for the under 1.5 FHG V2 for the last 2 months (Apr and May) and like wise no results for BACK OVER 3.5 , BTTS V2 and ELO BACK AWAY TEAM at the beginning of the trial so you are not comparing like for like ,the results of these strategies could easily change the monthly totals and therefore your perspective of the on going results. Also the 3 months of losses cannot be compared to the previous years data because for the month of Mar there is only 1 strategy the same, Apr and May only have 3 of the same strategies. Big picture though 463 pts profit in a year is a great return Well done Vince

Is it something to do with end of season. Reduce stakes or go to paper trading for a month and see if it picks back up
I definitely think the end of season games are different because some teams are a lot more motivated than others.

Not of fan of yours BTC but here to open the public eye I've exsposed TTM don't fall for their bs they are not who they say they are
I think a few fell for their nonsense originally but now they sell their own software it is pretty obvious why they talked that rubbish about us!

@@JeffTownsend-l8v good work, we have had a few of their ex members message us similar things. I see Gurubusters also did a good video exposing them and then they just shut their discord down where they were supposed to be helping people!

hi, why do you pay 2 percent commission? I have always zero coz I collect there lot of points so big discount
I use 2% as the baseline for results as it's what all traders on Betfair have access to. Therefore it shows if a strategy will work for any trader on Betfair not just one specific person. Thanks
It could be unlucky Or more likely you have overfitted your analysis and the losing runs are just going to continue. That is the more likely reason it’s losing. Given it’s 3 months it’s a massive red flag to continue betting it.
