Thanks for the review. I agree it was very much a mishmash. I think I'd rather buy art supplies as a set for a young crafter as they wouldn't have the skills yet to use or combine all of the contents. I did like the mini figure, easel plus the sweet mini pallet.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I think if they do the calender next year, they need to be a bit more thoughtful with what they put in it.
From the unboxing videos I've seen, all art advent calendars are quite the mishmash-- of course the brand wants you to go buy the whole set of colored pencils or paints (Some sets are definitely chosen more thoughtfully, though). I guess the mishmash is fine depending on the target demographic: for the adult crafter with an already existing collection of art supplies, you can simply add the new items. For the kid or adult without a collection, it might be frustrating.

For $25 AUD it’s not a horrible calendar. Definitely not worth more than that though..
The items almost looked like they were just put in as a bunch of samples rather than a cohesive “experience”.
It would be pretty bad if it was a gift for someone that was only just starting out with art or crafts and didn’t have their own stash though. 😳

That looked like a cheap mishmash of random stationary and art items to me. They could at least created a theme for the box. How on earth do they expect anyone to use all of that together? What a ripoff! Sorry hun, it's not you in saying that about or the video, it's the constant load of old tatt that are out in advent calendars for xmas. It actually offends me to be honest! Having said all that, I'm new to your channel and have subscribed today.
Thanks 😊 and no offence taken because I totally agree! While I was reviewing I tried to remember it was only cheap, but, I'm positive you or I could've put together a more cohesive calender that had a couple of nice Christmas projects to create,,,, within the budget. Thanks for subscribing 😁

I feel like advent calendars are way way overpriced. Everyone wants to get in on the cheat people business. I don't mean to be "salty," but I don't want us to be cheated. Your art was fun to watch, tho. 😊
