Rust Cohle is one of the most complex and best characters i have ever seen in tv shows. I believe Matthew McConaughey has done a brilliant job on this.

@@azad738 honestly, nothing like True Detective, it was unique, but Game of Thrones and Deadwood both have the writing and character work you might be interested in

Rust Chole is basically Dave robichaoux, James lee Burke novels, even some of the names are the same. The neon rain is a good place to start
