My grandfather took Part in encounter Barbarossa, got a Shrapnell in his head, lived in a wheelchair and died 1983 when i was a kid. Each time i come to see those clips, i wonder if he was there somewhere in the Videos without recognizing him

I’d rather hear from the victims and defenders being senselessly invaded. I am from the UK but it is typical to hear a UK directed doc unable to interview victims as we have a history of doing the invading all the time and rarely invaded, so we are embarrassed about framing documentaries from the perspective of the defenders. But they are the ones who should have the attention. The US has the same problem in their war movies and documentaries.
