I went to fat camp! Our camp was in the woods middle of nowhere. But one of my bunkies had a cousin who would get wendy's on Friday and throw it over the wall for us. Friday was movie night so no one missed us. We'd eat our wendy's in our bunk and then walk back before the movie was over. That cousin is a legend

I got an easy bake from a foster family when I was 8....it came to every placement with me, in my garbage bag with my pillow and pj's. I made everything and when the packs ran out I learned my own " recipees" . I made a side hustle from baking that paid my way through college. That little light bulb and plastic gave me so much joy and taught me skills.

I’ve never been to fat camp, but my family did threaten to send me there. I was basically outcasted for being overweight only to figure out last year that my constant weight gain was caused by a hormone imbalance. Things got better and now my family does it’s best to support my weight loss journey.

I didn’t go to fat camp. I was just given a binge eating disorder by my mom. She made me weight myself in front of her then she would show me her gastric bypass scar and say “Don’t end up like me”. Ahhh childhood based trauma 💕
My mother did similar crap. I gained a lot of weight due to medication for my chronic illness as a teen, she bullied me into losing weight and still gets onto me about it even though I’m at a healthy weight now. Her thing was “you don’t have the fat gene”(I’m adopted)
