Been there myself, I wrote my dads eulogy and read it out too, I also got a round of applause although I didn’t understand why, it’s not easy, I didn’t even cry mainly because I was just too numb from grief, it was after the funeral that I was emotional because I realised that I would never see my dad again and he truly was gone
