My personal makeup artist and celebrity artist, RB Chanco, answers the most frequent questions I'm asked. Soo true I also live in the States and the beauty standards are so different compared to the Philippines and Asian countries in general. Alot of Caucasian/White people aim for a perfect golden or bronzier tan since it gives you a more sexier and defined body especially if u want to look skinnier or want your abs more noticeable. Even some of my white friends complain that they don’t get tanned but only sunburnt so their only choice is getting them done professionally. And most Americans see that if you want to bleach your skin to get lighter skin they’ll just think your crazy😂

Riza Valmadrid Yes po. And most people go to the beaches to get TANNED. So you will see lots of people lying down under sun for hours on purpose. And not a lot of people actually swim in the ocean they prefer hotel pools.
