FNAC of salivary glands is a common outdoor non-invasive, pain free diagnostic procedure carried out by most pathologists doing cytopathology. However many times FNAC results are very dissatisfying. This lecture presents proper technique of FNAC and interpretation of the material obtained. This video forms part-1 of the lecture. Part-2 shall follow soon. It is hoped that this lecture will give some insight into the causes of unsatisfactory results and how performance can be improved.
