If I could compare the cover to the original, I'd say they're both genuine in their own modest ways. Obviously TRS's version is a classic and very sweet and relaxing, but the Bush version is very warm and euphoric, like Rossdale is actually singing about a long term loved one who has gone through hardship and pain and is really reaching out on a limb to justify his honesty. Mick Jagger's vocals sound like a serenade to which he had just recently found new love.

I like bush alright. I think sixteen stone is a classic 90's album, but I think saying Gavin Rossdale has a voice like no other is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He wanted so so much to be Cobain. He even sang in metaphors like Kurt did. I personally think Gavin's fulla shit. I mean Machinehead? The fucking shittiest lyrics ever. However, comedown and everything zen are two amazing bush songs

It happens that Kurt was the first to recognised, with that some of Cobain followers presumed that Cobain's act is being imitated by Gavin. I beg to disagree, Gavin has it's own style and approach but admittedly Cobain's popularity was greater than Gavin.

Acoustic version is 1000 times better. I get shivers everytime I listen to it. I prefer it over the original or even any other cover for that matter.
