- I always get asked what size wheels and tires do I run on my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 so here it is 38x15.50r20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT and 20x12 -44 offset XD 860 onslaught wheels. Yah it looks nice, it’s how I would want my wheel size and off set. I seen this rich guys one in the Middle East and it was amazing but he spent $50k on top of 90k so it was a beast.

The straight 6 was the one I always preferred. Had that motor in a Cherokee, grand Cherokee and a TJ. Rock solid.
The ole 4.0 is hard to beat but I can defiantly say the 392 has done it haha Thanks for watching!

Being outside the fenders just looks like its trying to be something its not, a tank lol. Doing that changes the geometry of how the engineers designed it to be in tune. Puts more stress on the drive train as well unless its beefed up. Rock and gravel thrower for cars and motorcycles behind you.

I’ve always been old school Jeep, owned 3 CJ-5’s, my last CJ-5 sat on 38’s. Here in my home state of Florida, every 10 god damn vehicles is a 4 door Jeep, they roll around spotless with gay plastic ducks across the dashboard! I am sick of it. But hoss…….all the Jeeps around here could NOT even hold your shadow! Not even in their dreams. Your Jeep is SICK!! You have made your Jeep one of a kind, well, well done hoss!! I love the tires but the wide stance past the fenders is considered illegal in my Provence and it's missing Mud flaps in the back. But I have to say it's perfect for Mall crawling lol

I like this kind of setup. As long as you got flex without anything touching, this will be really capable! My old lanecruiser is set up in a similar way on 35's. Better angles on your drivetrain, not top heavy, and still great road manners

I got -6 offset rrw bronze wrangler 17" wheels with 37 inch bfg ko2. I like the offset i have and dont know if id iever go as far out as you. Nobody is gonna wanna be behind you because you will be kicking so many rocks at them
Just gotta stay back far enough, may need a sign stay 200 feet back haha

That's the drivetrain I'd choose. I have a stage 2 kit ready to install on my JTRD - 300whp and 500wtq. So it'll be nice but can't deny that V8 sound. I have to drive to my builder on 37s no lift...should be chill and look good from what I see...I would be scared to hit a bump to hard though.

the 44 is pretty strong just dont load the truck down all the way. Ive done dumb things with mines and people tell me my 33s are enough to break them.

Never been a big fan of 20s on the jeeps. I just don't like giving up that kinda sidewall. 17x9 on a 37 or 38x12.50 has always worked great for our JKs.
I agree, I have got 20s on the last few because they end up with at least 40s pretty quickly. 40s and 20s are perfect for me. The 38s are just temporary.
That would look more insane on 14" wide wheels!
It would but then I would run into some trouble off-road, this is just enough to look good and do well off-road!

Just add a bolt on Sprintex supercharger and you get a faster beast than the stock 392
True but the 6.4s don’t handle boost well so you can only run about 5-7 pounds of boost without it blowing up so that’s like 30-40hp not worth the cost.

Cool, I bet those tires hold huge rocks and fling out every where. My new tires do and I'm not sure there is anything to stop it. I have Interco Boggers and hold like 1 inch rocks. I spent about 20 minutes picking rocks out of my tires one day.
