Just curious how do you know when the EMUs will come by? Do you just camp out for a bit? I am interested in spotting them myself now that they are testing at speed during the day. Thanks!
If you want nice horns there are plenty of historical and tourist railways. This is a functioning railway, so horns are at the bottom on the list of priorities.
@@danieljk826 Haven't been in one yet but EMUs (and electrification in general) are light years ahead of the current sets. Caltrain horn is distinctive, though. EMU horn sounds like a honda with road rage.
@@travisfinucane the engineer could stick a vuvuzela out the window for all I care, as long as the trains are fast and frequent. Developed countries don't even use their horns for the most part, the US would be wise to do the same.

The same question. At weekends? When?
Oh very nice ... Stadler ... Kiss Kiss
SPOT THE EMU AT PALO ALTO STATION
921 doesn’t sound too good
Yeah I noticed it spewing a lot of smoke on the top but I don't know if that's normal acceleration or not
Lots of black smoke coming out like that isn’t normal. Usually it’s clear. That means the hep is overheating most likely.
@@ericerock1000 Huh ok, thank you for the info! I had no idea ;)
