    Have had a tuffy security lid in my jk for about 3 years. After that, I have come across issues that I found. Love the product, will not lie, I drilled some holes and mounted some I bolts to use to tie my cooler or supplies down. Now the issues is the sides, is a rectangle that sits between the wheel wells. A lot of dead space it creates on the sides. I felt like they should of put some extra metal to cover the wells so you could set stuff on top. Like alittle pocket. Second was the lid, it looks like for the JL they added a brace to hold it up. That’s what the jk needed, overall. I’d recommend this thing to anyone. I had mine in a 2 door. Removed my seat, and worked perfect. Had enough room in the middle, had a some camping gear mounted up to that portion.

    • @wayalife
      @wayalife Před 5 lety

      We typically run doorless when we're running topless. The door lock buttons are on the doors and without them, there are no buttons to press unlock. Even with the doors on, a would be thief would have to open the doors or climb into the front seats to press said buttons and I would hope that would trigger the alarm. For me, the deck is not intended to be a safe but rather, just make it a lot harder for a would be thief to reach in, grab my stuff and go. In other words, it's just a deterrent.
