I still haven't made it out to a SEAOC of SEI convention (but have been meaning to)... It would have been nice to sit in on those ASCE 7-22 presentations. Already had an encounter with the new snow loads.

Civil engineering student here and I love the content. Really making my career choice seem like an incredible decision. Hoping to design entertainment structures like studios and theatres or venues (ie sydney opera house). Hopefully getting a masters in architecture but besides that I cannot wait to get into the field! *and stop being poor 😂*

I heard that some professional organizations start giving awards for social media related or having social media committee meeting. Does your professional organization have social media committee meeting, maybe you could start the social media committee meeting and/or win the first awards for social media use in structural engineering community or AEC industry.

Structures Congress is a waste of time. But SEAOC and ACI/ASCE conferences are good ones
