I live in Florida and I have seen wolf packs of 7-10'pounders 2 times in my life. One of them was a pond in Orange county they chased a school of bluegills directly by my feet on the bank. My cousin and I both had caught one we were using 10 inch worms. And another time I saw it in a sand mine lake that is over 100 ft deep they were chasing bait to the top and I caught one then that was a high 8 or low 9 pounder on a spinner bait. Super cool both times just because the size of the bass were really big for wolf packs

Unlike the Sabine river there is no lack of fish in smith lake but catching them 3+ lb ones is the difference it's full of bass alot like lake Martin
