Naomi Klein on complicity in genocide, believes this is “not the first time”

Naomi Klein, an author, gave a speech through a Zoom call on War on Want’s ‘And Still We Rise’ event that was held in London on 24 February, sharing her views on the complicity in genocide. Klein pointed out that there are no “moral leadership except the leadership springing up from the grassroots” in most countries.
Klein believes that the genocide in Gaza is not the first, including the unity between global political classes sharing the vision of defending Israel’s crimes.
“No Tax for Genocide”, a new campaign has been launched in the UK for people and businesses to stop paying tax over genocide complicity.

There are some government's from the global North that are not complicit with the genocide and have spoken out, e.g., Spain, Belgium, Ireland and perhaps more. But it's a stark message from NK.

The Global South is already becoming unlivable in certain places and that will only worsen from here on. Sooner or later, this will be yet another thing the fascist elites of the Global North are united on-that 1) it's real, 2) the poorest and most vulnerable people in the world are somehow to blame, and 3) the people of the Global South poses a greater threat than ever to the lifestyles to which many Global Northerners have become accustomed. Ecofascism is coming and we must be ready.

maybe our elected officials are just a representation of the people. The reason Irish politicians are so outspoken is because the population whole-heartedly supports them.
