Everyone talks about THPS, but if you're a diehard like me before that there was Street Sk8er.
Did it suck? Yeah. But you played it cause it was the only skate game for Playstation at the time in 1998. And Plus the soundtrack had Less Than Jake on it. 👍

No Derrick plourde was the drummer who originally recorded this track . He died , Raun replaced him .
Actually Plourde left the band in 1996 and Feelings came out in 1998, so Raun recorded it.

Any chance you could do a video on proper foot technique for Punk drumming such as this style? Have always wanted to play beats like this, but can never get the technique quite right.

I believe you need to search for "D beat" tutorials!
Look for Slide technique tutorials
It's usually referred to as the heel toe technique. Loads of info on it online.
There's the "heel/toe" technique or the "slide" technique. Kye uses the slide method (as do I). Seems that most punk drummers use the "slide" method. If you want more of a double bass sound, heel/toe is usually used.

I have never told this story in public but here is the fast version.
While i was managing a skate and surf shop in SB, i had a chance run in with a Sony executive. I had no idea who he was at the time. He was shopping and asked me about my favorite music. Basically i told him about my friends the Wagon. He asked his daughter if she knew the group to which she told him it was her brother "Johnnys favorite band" also. He asked her if he had the cd to show him? So presumably he checked the music out and later made the TH2 deal for the song that millions would come to love. All from a litte punk band from SB.
Ps. I apologize to Flip at the time because we have a kind of rule about not talking about the band. Lol. He joked to me that "maybe they would sell out and be rich than." I will probably apologize for telling this story publicly also. Lol

If you multi tracked this you should post the drum cover with no backing so other people can put their covers on top to celebrate Lagwagon day this May 16th. I mean that'd be a fun idea in general with all your covers. That way you get double exposure if they use your drum tracks on covers.

Any chance any of these drum covers are available without the music in the background? I'm a guitar/bass player who is just now learning recording (Reaper) and having some of your drum tracks to practice with would make the learning experience more fun. Lagwagon, Nofx, and NUFAN drum tracks are a lot harder to find than a band like Metallica or something.
