You could take a couple of your Dad’s shirts and have they made into stuffed animals for the kids so they could snuggle them while they sleep and feel close to Poppy. Maybe that would help!!
Yes, I was thinking this as well. Getting the shirts made into teddy bears is so helpful, and something that can be a wonderful keepsake for a long time. ❤

I’ve heard cardinals are visitors from heaven. When my grandmother passed away last year, there suddenly is one that keeps coming around. 💖
Aw I heard that too! Right after my grandfather passed away I noticed a Cardinal in our tree right out our kitchen window.

Happy FRIDAY!! I do not have kids, but, I babysat alot. I use to have trouble sometimes getting kids asleep. I use to explain, why do we sleep. It gives us energy. If you go to sleep soon, then you can sleep longer. This means more sleep = more play time. If you want to have fun more, then sleep because you will feel like it. Instead of waking up tired and feeling yuck. It's your choice. less sleep=feel yucky or lots of sleep=feel great and have fun. Then, they would go to sleep!!!
idk if you already tried this kind of thing. explaining cause and effect scenarios seems to help teach critical thinking skills. Telling her it's your choice makes them feel like they are older and responsible.
But it's your life, you do what is best. Only the actual parents of the child, actually, know.

I lost my Daddy about 5 years ago and we were very close. It took me over 2 years to feel like normal. So as a little one, she just needs to keep a schedule and keep talking about her Poppy. Remember Grief never goes away, it just changes ❤💚💜💙💛
p.s. A cardinal is a sign from a departed loved one from heaven to let you know everything is ok.

Hi! My daughter has hair like P and it was so hard to do. But I've learned if I use a fine tooth comb and a water spray bottle it makes it easier. Also if we're going to be out all day I put a tiny touch of gel to secure it.
💙 I lost my Dad ... I can feel for you and your littles. It’s not easy but looking for signs (cardinals) can bring comfort even for them. After my Dad passed away I had a little cardinal hang around all winter and it brought a little smile each day.

For Presley, I’d recommend removing all stuffed animals and blankets from her bed and removing that as a tactic. I had to do that with mine. She got them back after she learned 😉

Did you know.. A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. ;)
