I had a girlfriend that later become my wife (now ex-wife). She used to wear the original Angel and it was PERFECT for her, like no other ! To me, Angel is that kind of fragrance that needs to "combine" with the person that will wear it in many aspects, that is, not only how it smells in the skin, but how it matches the person's personality as well !

I just bought this and I'm in LOVE!! I enjoy the original, but at times it can be a little much especially if you're working in close quarters with people who may not appreciate it the way I do. This is much smoother and softer than the OG but it still retains the originality and uniqueness that makes it Angel.
Steven what's the difference betwen "Thierry Mugler" and "Mugler"? I have seen a lot of the boxes they just say Mugler ans before Thierry Mugler
They just changed the name so it reads only "Mugler" now. Lolita Lempicka did the same thing. Their fragrance read only Lempicka now.
Great review! I agree about flankers now days just being completely different instead of related to their original fragrance. This seems like a good balance.

great review! just got this Angel edt as my first Mugler perfume.i really enjoy the dry down as it smell totally unisex, remind me a bit like JPG Ultramale (is it just me?). really good longevity, it can last more than 10 hours on my skin. totally worth it!

Hello Steven. Thanks for the great review. My wife has been wearing Angel for the past 4 years 》 sister introduced her to it. Loves it. I am also a Mugler fan ( buy what I can here in Kingston Ontario, or have to travel to Toronto ). Looking forward to buying this for my wife to try.. this sounds like more of a summer fragrance with the fruity notes. Not as heavy...love the Mugler Fragrance line for both men and women. Stay healthy and keep cool in this weather from your paramedic friend and Canadian neighbor who wears tooooo much cologne at work 😊😊 Keep up the great reviews. Cheers

Angel the original have been my spring/winter signature scent since 1996. I always go back to it.. having a huge perfume collection this is "me".

Awesome vid. Forgive my ignorance but is their a men’s version of this? I absolutely fell in love with a sampler I found of this fragrance and quickly went threw it.
Although it’s a womans fragrance I found that when applied lightly it enhanced my aura.
Yes, Angel for men.
Make sure you sample it first. Back in the day I ran out to buy Joop’s female version. I loved it so much. It was awful. But Joop’s Le Bain was more like the original. Test first, on skin, not the card.
What a nice review!!!! I have the body lotion whuch is a compliment getter. My female colleagues at school purchased it because of me. Unfortunately edp is heavy for my taste but i tested edt and has the same feeling like body lotion. I really love it. Love from Greece.

Bottle is going to change in 100ml! Body lotion and shower get has the design of the alien and aura products and the logo of Angel is changed.. really sad 😭
The girl I’m interested in has never had a “nice” fragrance before and she’s interested between this, Marc Jacobs Daisy and Coach Floral Blush. I personally think they all smell amazing.

I feel totally comfortable with buying this fragrance now! 😍 There’s so many mixed reviews about the infamous Angel eau de parfum which made me hesitant to buy it. (Also an overwhelming note list)
I’m excited to try the eau de toilette! Then perhaps I will try the original afterwards if I love the scent 🥰✨

I love this scent. Its light when you first spray it and when it dries its sweet powdery. I love it this Angel EDT. I just smelled it. I can wear this for everyday for sure. This has praline and peony right? I also like Carolina Herrera Good Girl Not as Bad is what its called I think. I love it. Also I haven’t really payed attention to the Alien and Mugler line before. I tried the dark purple alien perfume and I didn’t like it. It smells like weird medicine. When it dried down, it smells like rust 🤮🤢. Most of my perfumes are Miss Dior - the kind that smells similar to Coco Mademoiselle but are discontinued now. I also love Scandal by Night. I smelled Alien Fusion and compares with Angel EDT. I love the sweet intoxicating scent of Angel EDT. So I decided to give this a chance...

Could this be used as a men’s fragrance as well? I like to use the iced star. How would u compare this perfume with iced star?
I picked up a tiny edt tester of Angel, and I've worn it for a week. My nose picks up different scents throughout the day. At the beginning of application, it smells like I'm in a cloud of cotton candy. Minutes later, it takes on a bit of a masculine scent. After about an hour, the fragrance is like a chameleon but in a wonderful way. One moment I'll detect a delicious, cotton candy note and patchouli in another. It's intoxicating, and I love it.
I tried the EDP version but was horrified by the smell the moment the spray from the tester touched my skin. After thirty minutes, I still smelled like bug spray.

I get the scent of soil and rain water from the original Angel. I like the new Angel Croisiere and 2019 EDT versions though.

Sounds very nice my first proper gf always wore angel. This one probably just as lovely and nostalgic. And please Mr mugler make the original woman's alien an edt much lighter and throw in a nice tobacco note and could be the next alien man flanker

I loooove that soil smell so much ! Do you know of any perfume that has that same smell but without being as sweet as angel? I would love just the soil smell with vanilla or tonka perhaps amber 😍
I haven't come across one with such a smell, but when I do, I will let you know.

Check out 'Hippie Peace Nag Champa Roll-On Perfume Oil'. I have an extensive high-end perfume collection, BUT I never not have this in my lineup. I order it from Amazon, and it's only like $10! It's made by a woman in Vermont, and it's exceptional. The best patchouli fragrance I've found to date. If you like the Earthiness, you will love it!
I do not have the funds to spend on a more expensive cologne or parfume. I know you'll get a kick out of this but the dollar tree has a version of this called Astute. I would like to see if you could compare the notes.
I love this EDT. I did notice slight changes in scent between the Clarins and the L’Oréal formulas. I have both at home and I find Clarins a bit more sour and not as gourmand. Do you mind checking your bottle and seeing if it says mfd for cfg or Azzaro? The azzaro is light pink juice and cfg is blueish!
Aside from the difference in color, what does the difference in manufacturer mean? Is the older version manufactured by CFG?
I just received mine and it’s light pink. It’s the Azzaro one, it’s very disappointing to me because I can barely smell it!
Hopefully thay don't butcher mugler fragrances now that they are being bought out 🙏

The first time I smelled Terry Mugler Angel edp it was hate at first sniff. Then I purchased Terry Mueller alien and fell dreamily in love with it! But upon my purchase I received a tiny sample of Terry Mugler angel EDT one day I sampled it and I was like OMG! I love this I just didn’t like the opening but the dry down was phenomenal so yummy and edible. So I ran out grab me a bottle of the angel EDP and got home and sprayed myself all over and realized I was very unhappy ( I smelled like oil and dirt?!!!) and couldn’t figure out why it didn’t smell like the small sample. Finally I took a real good look at the sample and Needless to say realized that it was an EDT🤦🏽♀️ I had no idea that there was a new launch LOL so now I have to go by the EDT ASAP!!!

I don’t get soil. It’s probably the chemistry of the person who’s wearing it. I love it now that I’m older. I use to dislike it because the person I worked with back in the day use to dose herself in it. So if u go light… it’s beautiful

I just received this of course I'm 7 months so late from Mugler's website. Customer service said that it was a limited edition are they not going to be keeping this one do you know
I wasn't aware that it was a special edition. I was under the impression that they would keep it permanently.

What is the difference to the 2011 edt? Replace this the 2011 edt version?? Because the 2011 edt works good for a man, i had to bunker it...think the New edt is leaning more on feminin side.
It's a different composition. The 2011 version has more of an emphasis on patchouli, and the new version is lighter and fruitier.

Man i really love your Channel, could you please recomend me a girl fragrance for my 3 years old princess? I want it to be her 1st signature fragrance but as off right now theres not too much to spend so it has to be under $70/60. My favorite scent is D&G Light Blue, just ordered the Intense version to try it and was thinking on getting her that one since we're located in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic next to Puerto Rico and i can tell is really hot in here so it has to be a fragrance that goes well al seasons and anytime being day or night and long lasting but at the same time fresh. Hope you can help me and it will means the whole world to me comming from you, best regards.

Can you ask Olivier Cresp to resurrect his discontinued 'Gloria' for Cacharel? A stunning unicorn of a scent for which no worthy dupe exists. This fallen perfume's Fragrantica page is but a growing community of implacable mourners begging for the return of this unique amaretto-vanilla-cherry-almond wonder.

However I hate the new eau the toilette! It smells like the other eau sucree aqua chic eau croisire editions! It's fruity but not really like the original Angel! They also changed the logo/font and it looks cheap and fake. The original angel logo was just perfect! It was iconic, and since this release the eau de parfum in 100ml is going to have this bottle as well! It's sad to see they change angel after a long time! However this bottle is a gift, it's not what I like! The original eau de toilette is going out of stock and I hope the original 25ml and 50ml of the eau de parfum will not get this bottle! I'm so sorry but Mugler lost a fan!

For an edt version of the original, this is too weak and reminiscent of different perfumes in the market.
The Mugler new angel is wayy more weak,doesn t project,low siaj...the old one was the real thing!..this smells like a fake one.
