Wouldn't it be easier putting the bales on a trailer and then take them back to the yard?

Not when we were that close. The bale trailer was for two other fields not shown in the video which were like two miles away. Plus getting outta that field in question is fairly tight and then you have a tight turn onto the road. Not worth the bother when we had 3 tractors drawn in.
