Tips for The Game: 1: Don't go to the doll maker website if you do don't piss him off (you'll know what that means if you get to it)
2: Always keep changing your WiFi or the cops gonna get ya.
3: always listen to your surroundings.
4: Keep the door locked
5: before exiting your place of residence listen to the door knob if silent look through the peep hole if all clear go on out.
6: If there is a guy in the door way that leads to your balcony turn away from him. Don't look at him he'll go away.
7: If the door knob is jiggling shut off all the lights and hide in the bathroom.
8: Some people play with the lights off ig to make it easier to hide.
9: You want to get hacked as much as possible that way you can more money for more stuff.
10: you're going to want to get 2-3 VPN's and 1 motion sensor (you put it in the hallway on a place were it's green)
11: there is a antagonist called breather if you get a phone call and it's just breathing go to the door and check if he's there. If he is hold the door knob until he stops jiggling it he then looks through the peep hole to find you if he sees you he will try to break down the door you have to brace against it.
(These all worked for me so I don't know if it will for you.)

Everything was good but never turn iff your lights all what u need is to turn off your pc if u turn off the lights the noir will get u once lucas leaves or any other time
GOOD TIPS:
-Turn off nudity in your settings - that way it won't have to necessarily be edited in post.
-You have a PEEP HOLE on your door, use it wisely - don't peep too much!
-Listen and make a note of all of the sounds you hear. Very helpful for the hit man - LUCAS and the NOIR
-You have to place you VPN device on different floors until it glows green. :)
-Check the SOURCE CODE for the codes you need to get to the next wiki page
-ALWAYS lock your front door if you can remember
-WIth the NOIR - turn around for about 30 secs and they disappear. Don't approach them.
-Don't hang around in the alleyway for too long, the BREATHER will get you. You can hide in the alley supply closet and hold the doorknob
-Have fun/get ready for some nice jumpscares
I was able to beat it, but it took FOREVER and some patience xD
double honk is Lucas, and if you turn the nudity off the game might try to cencor all of itself, including your actual room (Though that might have been just Mark's thing, game might have seen his tasteful nudes and desided to censor him)

Jack, I have a few tips for you.
You need to change wi-fi every ten minutes, if you don't the police will find you and kill you.
Noir- Do as it says. If you see one of them don't walk towards them. Turn your back and count to thirty. Your power will shut off during this game and that is another time they can kill you. There is a flashlight on the bedside table. Have it with you at all times.
Breather-He's in the alleyway when you go outside to collect the things that you bought. You will hide in a little room that is out there when you hear him. There will be something along the lines of a mini game where you have to keep him from opening the door. My advice is that every time you go outside to get something, go straight into the room, just to be safe.
Lucas- You will hear him picking the lock on your door. When you hear that, you need to have all the lights in the apartment turned off, then you need to hide in the bathroom for a total of five minutes, maybe a little more just to be safe. Another way to tell if he's around is car honks. One honk means nothing, but two honks means get the lights off and hide. Whatever you do, don't hide in the closet.
Police- Yes, if you stay on the same wi-fi for to long they will kill you. if you hear sirens, disconnect wi-fi, shut off the computer, lights out, and hide in the bathroom for a while. They will leave.
DOS coin- Earn it by failing the first thing in the hack and doing the next few things it presents you. You will earn more DOScoin and will be able to buy the things you need, including more VPN's
VPN's- You need to go outside the apartment and fine the green areas. Those places will produce the most DOS coin

Here are some tips :
The Noir: They are pretty easy just turn around for at least 30 seconds just to be safe also make sure your not in the dark for to long or they will kill you. You also want to be checking more regularly for the Noir the farther you get into the game.
Lucas: Lucas shouldn't be active till you get at least 1 key, remember to listen for audio keys like a car beeping twice (I thinks that's just telling you he is active) foot steps and your door being unlocked when you hear these things you want to turn off your computer and and hide in the bathroom for 3-5 mins (leaving all the lights on will make him stay longer), if it is Lucas you will hear him walk into the room shortly after don't try to hide anywhere else. Buying things like motion sensors are pretty useful you would probably want two on each side of the hall (that's what the audio thing is for).
Police: The police are also pretty easy, so if the Noir opened your window you can most likely hear the police sirens (they are sometimes for someone else) for this you also want to hide in the bathroom for 3-5 mins, the track you if your on a WiFi for too long all the wifi's have a certain amount of time you can be on them so you want to switch every 5-10 in-game minutes.
Breather: The breather is rude, when you leave the lobby and you hear things like (foot steps, a cell phone, or breathing you want to go to that little room wait for him to walk there and then do the little door holding thing you will need to be fast for this and if you live stay there for at lease 1 min after he walks away.
The doll maker: This is a little side quest and its pretty hard but I dont really want to spoil anything so ill just tell you the first part to it. The quest starts after you go onto the doll maker website after a while you will hear music after that you look through your door peephole and it begins, for this you will need the lolpy disk or whatever its called to hack the lobby computer.
DOS coins: You want to make sure you have backdoor hacks always, the harder the hacks get the more money you make, also the failing the zonewall (first hack) will earn more coins.
The VPNs will produce more money depending on the color and the icon that appears on the bottom right of your screen, (red is bad yellow is normal and green is the best).
A good strategy for farming DOS coins is going to a dead website and refreshing the page (also be on a free wifi)
WiFi's: There are a bunch of different wifis ranking from WEP, WPA, and WPA2, WPA2 is the best and can be the trickiest to hack if you inject to much to fast the network will go offline!
Websites: There are a lot of websites some don't work and some are only open at a specific amount of time. There are two other wikis 2 and 3 they are found in the pages source code by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.

back door hacks are important! if you want more coins then you fail the first hack and use a backdoor to get more doscoin. vpn has to be green to get good doscoin. wpa and wep are essential to hack wifis, wpa has certain amounts you have to search through so that you don't have the network shut down. motion sensors and a sound alert help immensely with lucas. check often for the noir while in your room, if you don't then they will come to you. lock your door always! use the little magnifying glass icon to search within the sites to see if you can find keys or websites to other wikis. think this is all i can think of at the time.
also, websites are only active at certain times. there is a lot to this game.

I'm only twelve minutes in, but here's some basic tips.
Edit:there's an option to turn off nudity in the options. Just got to the dollmaker sight.
NOTE:THIS IS A WAY TO AVOID ENEMIES, IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THIS BY YOUR OWN, DON'T READ AHEAD.
*Police*-have to change Wi-Fi constantly so police don't find you. Only way to avoid them.
*Lucus*-listen for him picking your lock. If you do hear this, turn off computer, as many lights as possible, hide in shower. Wait for 5(?) Minutes if everything is off. If you left computer on, he will steal dos coin and erase notes. You can look through the peep hole to spot him, but I don't suggest you looking if you hear him for sure, he can shoot you through it.
*Noir*- You have to look away from the computer every once in awhile to make sure they aren't peaking in the window, balcony, or right behind you. If you encounter them, turn around and wait for 15-30 seconds. If you don't pay attention and look at your surroundings, especially if the lights are off, they WILL kill you. Do not walk toward them.
*Breather*-when you go outside into an alley to pick up a package, there's a door you can hide in. You can faintly hear his footsteps as soon as you go outside the lobby if you're quiet enough. I would suggest not going out in the alley later in the game unless completely nessicary, because if you miss holding the door knob for even a second, he will kick the door down and kill you.

I would do ANYTHING to see Sean play this through in 2023 I really wish he would because I LOVE this game.
If you want to win the game your gonna have to look a lot of it up... there is so much to this game that it's absolutely insane. But here's what I know!
Enemies:
-Lucas gives only a few signs that he is coming, he might honk twice when he's active, otherwise you must listen for him lock-picking the door. Hide in the shower when he comes. If he does enter and your computer is on he will delete all of your notes.
-Noir has the mask, he will appear pretty much randomly, just turn your back to him for a little bit. Noir will get you if your lights are off for too long. They will also open your window before coming I think?
-Breather appears only in the alleyway, you will hear his footsteps when you enter it. Hide in the side room and hold the door shut when he tries to open it. wait until he is completely gone to stand up.
-Police will come if you stay on one wifi for too long. free wifis generally give you about 10 in-game minutes, and the times will go up with harder wifis. If the police do come, and your window is open, you might here the sirens. turn off all lights and your computer and hide in the shower for a while.
-Dollmaker will only come after you go to his website, so avoid it as much as possible. I won't spoil his thing for you, but just be sure to buy a lolpy disc before activating him.
There is an option to turn off nudity.
Always lock your door and pick up the flashlight.
When you get hacked, make sure to have a backdoor hack or two, and fail the first level(?) of hacking. The second one is the one that you get money for blocking. There are different types of hacks, there are files explaining them on your computer.
VPN must be placed somewhere in the apartment building that glows green.
The codes will rarely be in plain sight, you will have to scan the sights for anything clickable. The second wiki page link will usually be in the source. Codes will sometimes be there too.
Thats all that I really know, hope it helps!
P.S. It's a really good game to live stream bc then others can give you tips as you play!

Elix You covered all of it. Lucas can get you in the shower if u make noise in real life. Your mic hears all. You hide in there for 5 mins real time no talking. Things to get before breather gets to hard to beat is 2 Vpns and 2 motion senors. Motion senors in your hallway on both sides. Motion alert is very important too it will make a beep for u If it see Lucas. Make sure everything is installed and working and on but u get going. Because sometimes it doesn't turn on when u load the game or install it.

Jack here's some tips:
The Noir are the masked people to avoid them turn your back to them and wait 30 seconds.
The VPN was red because you put it in a bad spot. You have to go outside your apartment and go along the walls to find a better spot. Red is bad , Yellow is ok , Green is good. You may have to go to different floors to get a good spot for it . You can have multiple VPNS at once.
The Police will get you if you stay on the same wifi too long. A way to tell if their around is in the wifi you will see an FBI Surveillance Van.
Lucas is a hitman apparently if you hear two honks from a car he is around i'm not sure if this is true or not. Listen very carefully for footsteps. If you hear footsteps hide in the shower and wait about 5 minutes and he'll be gone.
The Breather is tricky if you go down to the alley and hear footsteps hide in that small room in the alley and brace the door. The Breather will try to open the door and you have to keep it braced. Keep doing this until he is gone.
Another way to get DOS coins is to buy a backdoor hack and when your hacked fail that first hack where you have to get the rectangle in the red circles and you'll be sent to different hacks. I'd advise you to read about all the different hacks. Which are the notes under the notes about the threats.
Now that you've been on the Doll Maker's site something will happen. I won't tell you what ;) because it's more fun to find out yourself.
To find the codes you should look through all the source codes and all the sites. Also in the source code there may be a link to the deep web 2 , and in the source code of a site in the deep web 2 there will be a link to the deep web 3. In all these deep webs there will be codes. If you can and/or want to you should find out the times each websites are active on and take notes of them not in the game but in real life.

Tips:
The police- They catch you if you stay in on the same internet for long, change after 2-15 minutes (Every wifi has difrent tracking time) just to be clear, you can hear
them if the police syrins if they are coming go hide in showers,
Lucas (Hitman 47)- he is the most dificult one, you can hear his foot steps and trying to pick the lock. If you hear him run fast as pocible to the bathroom and stay there, (If 1 or more lights are on he is ganna be there for 5 real minutes, if your computer is on he might delete notes in your computer(Tip: write everything on paper or notebook next to you-passwords, codes or somthening))
Noir : If you see one just turn around and count to 30 and they will be gone (i think now its 20 sec) and they will kill you if you have only 1 light in your room lighted while looking in deep web
The Breather: when you go outside to an alley you can hear his 2 big bonks, if you them go to the room and lean on it, then he will try to open the door so you need to hold the door (he could do this 15 times) when you hear him go away then get the package.
General tips: 1. dont buy anything on the Shadow market ( Only buy backdoor hacks, skybreaks)
2. buy the backdoor hack, when you get hacked you will get money if you block it (Try to fail the first one, the bigger you fail the 1st hack= the the harder 2nd hack=more money
3. while pages are loading check window and balcony for the masked dudes
4. every network has difrent tacking times for the police, lower secure WPA has faster tracking times for the police, so be carefull
5. There is doll maker website- DONT ENTER IT, because it has difrent quest and he can kill you if you try to do his quest and fail
6. Open source code because you can know if that website has any secret links and/or codes
7. always have SkyBreak working in the backround, you can set to probe it from 1-1000
8. You can try to get forsfully get hacked, if you connect to to a not working web site and connect to same free wifi, (MAKE SURE YOU BOUGHT THE BACKDOOR HACK to get money)
9.make that browser dont need slide to the corners, but dont make it full sise

It's not the breathing that reveals the Breather, it's either two heavy steps or laughing (I've never heard the laughing myself but it's apparently also a thing)

Some tips for success:
1. The noir- if you see them, turn your back on them for 30 seconds, they will be gone.
2. The police- never stay on a free wifi for more than 10 minutes in game time, they will track you and arrest you. WEP wifis are safe for about ~15 minutes, WPA wifis are safe for about ~20 minutes, and WPA2 wifis are safe for about 30 minutes.
3. Lucas- he is a hitman that is activated once you find the first key. Listen for 2 honks outside, thats your cue that hes active. Be sure to listen for footsteps in the hall, if you hear them, run to the bathroom to hide. If you hear him picking your lock, stay in hiding for 5 minutes or until you hear him leave your apartment.
4. The breather- the breather can start coming after you in the alley after 1130pm. If you go into the alley to pick up anything you buy, be sure to listen for the breather. If you hear him, run to the side door and crouch. You will need to hold the door handle when he tries to open it. He will try several times.
5. VPN- to use the vpn, place it along a wall in your apartment building. The color it is on the wall indicates how much it will generate. Red=least yellow=mediocre green=most. You can acess certain floors in the building so walk around to find the perfect spot.
6. Hacks- in order for you to generate money from hacks, you have to fail the first round. They will get harder as the night goes on
7. Check the source code for new wiki pages, there are 3 in total. There will be websites you can never reach, and some only during certain times.
8. If you die, you do have to start completely over. The game will autosave every 15 minutes otherwise.
9. If you want to attempt to reach end game, you will need 250 DOS coin to finish. Along with all 8 keys.
10. Comb through the websites as finely as possible. Sometimes a letter in a word can be clickable, which could give you a code. You have to be thorough.
This game can be and will be frustrating and is very unforgiving. I hope these tips help!

If you want to make faster DOS coin make sure you put your VPN somewhere where it is green. You can put it out on the corridors or hallways. If its yellow that means its making kinda neutral amount of DOS coin and if its red it is making minimum amount of DOS coin. Green spots are hard to find though. The guy you saw with the white mask in the door, you must look away for about 20 seconds and then he will go away. This game is also very unforgiving with the flashlight. Use it wisely because it can run out and once its out, its out. Also you can be caught by the police and lose. In order to not be caught by the police you must change wifi's every now and then. The free wifi's can last for about 10-15 minutes (in game time). The locked wifi's can last longer. Now if you hear police sirens outside it could be for you. When this happens you should hide in the shower. Now the sirens aren't always for you, it could be for someone else. Always keep your door locked and if you hear a lock picking sound that means lucas is coming. You must turn off your computer and RUN LIKE THE WIND to hide in your shower. This game is extremely hard and can take quite long to complete but it's not impossible. I hope this helps! :3

The thing that sucks about this game is that you can’t go in blind. The tutorial just doesn’t provide all the information you need in order to win, which is already hard enough when you’re following a step by step guide
Another thing about this game is that is doesn't tell you important stuff immediately like "there is a flashlight on the bedside table" or "there are instructions to restart power on the wall" those are things that people keep missing and they don't really realize it until its too late. Jack even miss some instructions on how to use VPNs and how to get hardware because he was hacked
Actually it does provide you a lot of information to beat the game. The files on the desktop tells you how to deal with the assassin, the noir and with the hacks as well the police. Finding the codes is a pain in the ass
From a gamer’s perspective it is highly annoying, but realistically in a situation like this I’d imagine that you’d honestly be given less information on what you’d have to do. Then again, I’ve never been in this situation nor do I ever want to xD
DeadAcid But that's not enough, you need to know that you can abuse wifi switching to trigger hacks and get DOScoins that way. Without abusing it, it's pretty much impossible to win.

Here are some mini-tips.
1. Always have your door locked.
2.Every time you stop using your computer, go to the wifi icon and choose "Disconnect" so the police don't get you.
3.Every time you see the Noir, just look away from them for 10 to 15 seconds and they'll be gone.
4 Always check your windows for Noir.
5 Getting and using backdoor hacks is a great way to farm DOScoin, so make sure you by them at any moment you get.
6. Whenever you go to the alleyway to pick up packages from the Shadow Market, go into the room on your right for about 2 to 3 minutes. If you don't hear anything, try for the package. If you do, wait until it goes away. the person in the alley way is "The BREATHER", who is out for you blood.
7. If you get the "Key Cue" installation on your computer, it does something IMMENSELY helpful. If you have it installed and see a key icon in the corner of the page on a website, it means that website has a key in it. However, the Key Cue does cost over 400 DOScoin, so get grindin'.

Ok Jack when you go to the Dollmaker website, when you hear the music, go check the peephole on the door. The Dollmaker will be there and he'll give you a task to do. Don't worry, he wont kill you :)
Also for VPNs, when you put one on the wall these are the colors:
Red - Bad
Yellow - Okay
Green - Good!
Later in the game when you get your package, watch out for the Whisperer. You'll hear him in the alley and when you do, quickly go into the small room and hide. When you're right next to the door, you'll see the handle move, and when you do, you also have to move it so you wont let him get in. And MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE YOUR WIFI. If you don't change your WIFI the police will come and get you. Also, later in the game a hitman will come and get you and if you hear him picklock your door go hide in the shower in the bathroom. and one more thing, LOCK YOUR DOOR.

tips on noir:
noir become active after first code or 10 30

tips on lucas/hitman:
lucas comes when you get 2 codes or at 12 30
he can get you in hallway,stairwell and your apartment
you must lock your door and listen for lockpicking if you hear him turn off your computer to avoid losing your notes and coins then go hide in the closet or bathroom
turning off lights will make him leave faster
he can do a fake out if he sees you go to hide so you should wait a few extra minutes after you hear your door close
if you know he is active and need to go get a package wait until he comes to visit you then go after hes gone
tips on breather:
the breather appears in the alleyway, behind the dumpster and the entrance to the alleyway
to avoid him you have to go into the room to the side and play a minigame
you have less then half a second to react when the minigame starts the breather can pull on the doorknob up to ten times
if you go get a package always go straight to the room unless its before 11
tips on dollmaker:
dollmaker becomes active if you click on his website even for a millisecond
he turns off your power and kidnaps you for a little bit of time then says you have to put a dollhead on a girls door
you can find a girl by either using a lolpsy disc on the lobby computer or by going to the mantience room which has a white board that says things about the rooms
if you put the head on a girls door you dont die if you put it on the wrong door or dont do it you die
extra tips:
window open means you found a code or another deep wiki
noir spawn everywhere always wait a few secs before going through the door
best to copy your codes and deep wikis on your own notepad not the one in game in case lucas comes and erases them
if you leave knowing lucas is active and dont wait for him to visit you he will hide under your bed and wait for you to come back then kill you
vpns produce most money in green then yellow then red
motion sensors need to be put on both sides of hallways for lucas noir do not set them off
buying the noise for the sensors is much better because then you dont have to check the motion sensors for them to blink red

Actually, Lucas does the fake door closing thing BECAUSE he doesn't know you're there, it's him testing if you're just hiding or actually not home. Him seeing you hide results in the "I heard Lucas enter the room but there were no footsteps after and when I exited the bathroom he was waiting for me" scenario that people complain about.

When looking for a suitable location for your remote VPN, you will notice that when you're deciding where to put the VPN, the VPN's shadow appears on the wall in one of three colours: red, yellow or green. The different VPN shadow colours directly correlate to how good of a connection your VPN has/how good of DOS coin the VPN is farming.
If you don't have enough networks to switch to, the swat team comes busting down your door and it's game over. So the best thing to do, to begin, is moving your modem around and get the passwords for all the WEP networks.
However, because WEP networks are slower than your remote VPNs farming DOS coin, you're going to want to upgrade your skyBREAK to allow you to crack WPA2 networks as soon as possible.
Instead of probing, you're tasking with injecting networks with deauthorization packets until the network opens and you can crack it. This process is lengthier than finding the keys themselves, but it allows for much faster connection speeds. The method to injecting WPA2 networks that I find works best is "inject 25", the last number being how many packets you will be injecting. If you're impatient, you can push it a little further and do 50 packets instead of 25 and see how that works. Once skyBREAK has injected the specified amount of packets, do it over and over again until the network is ready for cracking. Some networks will crack in less than 100 packets, and some can even take up to 900+ packets to crack: again, completely random.
Keys and hashes are found on the site pages themselves, the link to the Deep Wiki II is found in a page's source code. You know you've found a key when you're randomly scanning a picture, or box of text and your cursor turns into the Click icon. Some keys place themselves on your desktop when you've found them, and others will reveal themselves in the page's source code.
You can only get caught by the police if you don't swap your wifi networks. If you can hear sirens, an indicator that the police are on their way. If you find yourself hearing the sirens growing louder and louder, simply disconnect your computer from the whatever network you're connected to, turn off your PC (optional) and hide in the shower, as it's the only place they don't search. Give it about 5 minutes before returning to your PC and hunting down keys again.
The Dollmaker is triggered just by visiting the website. It might seem like nothing at first, but you'll eventually start to hear faint music. All you have to do is go to your door, look through the peephole, which you will then find yourself in the Dollmaker's quest. As to not spoil the quest itself, I won't go any further into detail on what will happen and/or what you should do. But, one thing to keep in mind during the Dollmaker's quest is that room 801 has a broken lock.
For Lucas, there is only one audio queue. While using your computer, you might hear the sound of your doorknob jiggling. If that's the case, check the peephole, and if you see Lucas lockpicking your door (assuming you locked it in the first place), make your way to the closet and hide.
If you happen to run into the Noir, stay calm, back a decent distance away from the man, turn your back to him and count to 30. Once you finish counting to 30, the man with the mask should be gone and you should be set. DO NOT run into the masked man if you see him, you will be attacked by the masked woman and die. As for where the Noir spawn. There are 2 total places the Noir can spawn (one being entirely random). If you're browsing the deep web and find that you click on a link but it does absolutely no loading, back out and checks your window, because it will most likely be open. At that point, you will need to constantly check your window in order to avoid the Noir from killing you. In the scenario that you see the Noir standing in your window, do the same thing as before (turning your back and counting to 30) and you should be fine. The second place the Noir spawn is entirely random. If you're out and about roaming, you can run into the Noir for absolutely no reason. At this point, it's the same process, just rinse and repeat. But whatever you do, DO NOT physically run at, or into, the Noir.
The one place that you can run into the Breather is the alleyway. Don't worry, when you go to get your first remote VPN, he isn't a threat yet, but after 11 PM he could appear at any moment. If you find yourself entering the alleyway after 11 PM, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you're making your way to pick up a package and you either; can't pick up the package, pause the game or open the door in the alleyway, you're going to die. There is no way around it, and if you approach the end of the alleyway, the Breather will jump out from behind the blue dumpster and kill you. In order to avoid this, whenever you enter the alleyway after 11 PM, the first thing to do is open the door, hold the door and peek through the window at the top of the door while waiting for about 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes have passed, you pick up the package, then open the door and hide for about another 5 minutes again. Then you should be good to return to the inside of the apartment complex.
P.S Best to write things down on actual paper so when inveitablly you die alot you still have some infomation e.g wifi passwords

Hey Jack, I'm no expert in this game but I have some tips from watching others play this game. Anyone please feel free to add anything that I may have forgotten!
1. There is an option in settings to change the nudity so it's already blurred
2. When you get the VPN and try to set it up by going into the hallways and different floors. The colors when searching a place for it will differ from Red, Yellow, to Green. Red gets you the worst amount of Dos coin and Green gets you the best.
3. When going to the ally to get any type of package make sure you watch out for the Breather. You can hear him by footsteps or his breathing I believe. Once you hear him make sure you run immediately into that one side room in the ally. If you somehow miss click, you're already dead because he will barge into the closet to kill you. If you make it safe, crouch down and DO NOT LOOK THROUGH THE WINDOW. You will hear him walking through the ally and he will try to open the door, you will have to hold the door down. You have a stamina bar so you have to time it. Once you think he leaves DO NOT crouch back up, or he will know that you are still there and wait for you to come out. I'm not exactly sure on how long you should wait once he leaves, but I would wait a minute for two.
4. Now going back to WIFI, each one you choose have a certain amount of time you can stay on while being safe. If you stay on a wifi for too long, you will hear police sirens and eventually they will break through your door and arrest you. I know the first wifi you are on is good for about 15 mins I believe.
5. Now the window, it will open at some point in your game and it opens when there is a key on a website. This only happens for the first key and when you actually find the first Lucas will be activated. When the window opens though, it is actually good so you can hear the outside and listen to certain cues.
6. Lucus, he is a hitman that is the actual worst, other than the Breather. He has 2 cues that I know of and you have to be careful to listen to them. If you hear 2 honks outside your window, footsteps, or your door being lock picked, immediate run to the bathroom, turn off the light in there and hide in the shower. There is no room for mistakes or else he will kill you once you exit the bathroom. You will hear him walk into your room and open a few doors, but he will eventually leave when he shuts the front door. Others say that he will walk around your room for up to 5 minutes if you keeps all the lights on. If they are all off, he will come and go much quicker thinking no one is home. It is still best to keep all the lights on though to keep the nior away.
7. When you find the nior, the ones in the white mask, immediately turn around for 10 seconds , turn back and they should be gone. Others say to wait 30 seconds, but it isn't necessary.
8. Careful with the websites that have sound! They attract others to you more quickly. There should be a mute button top right of your computer where the wifi is.
9. Dear god, please DO NOT GO ON THE DOLL MAKERS CITE. The only time you should go on it is to find one last key, there should be a total of 8 with I think 3 different Wiki's. Once you go on that cite, you activate the Dollmaker. When you first click onto the link and the weird music with the girl, if you look through the peep hole on you door you will see him. By looking at him, the next time you go out into the hallway he will make you do quests for him.
10. My last tip has to do with hacking! Make sure you keep getting the backdoor hacks for them. Once you do get hacked, you MUST fail the first sequence. So do not click onto the red sections. Once doing so, you will get another hack. Once you complete it you should get some Dos coin for it.

Here is some advice:
DOOR
Yes you can lock it...do it
VPN
: the VPN you get has to be placed somewhere around your environment like you did. The colour indicates how many dos coins will be generated (red=little , yellow=some , green=many) so just look where it is green on the wall and put it there to maximize the amount of coins you'll get.
POLICE
The polices will literally swat your home. You can defeat them if you switch the wifi often enough (10-15 min ingame time should be good)
LUCAS
Lucas is tricky he has the potential to stand behind ANY door and just shoot you. Just listen for him lockpicking your door and when he does so then hide in the shower and listen. For him to go away.
NOIR
If you ever see noirs then just turn away from them and count to 30 then they'll be gone (DO NOT APPROACH THEM)
BREATHER
The breather will appear in the alley where you pick up your packages. Just listen for him when your there and IF you hear him then turn. Into the storage room that is located on the right and you can hold the door closed. Do that untill he leaves.
SKYBREAK
Using dos coins you can buy the SKYBREAK tool with which you'll be able to hack into peoples wifi and have more options to switch (also different wifis have different speeds with WPA2 being the fastest)
NUDITY
You can checkmark nudity in the options so you don't have to censor it manually in editting.
GENERAL
You have to search for the codes on the websites and even the source code as you know. Some words on websites will be "hotzones" so you have to scan the words even.
And the "Home" wiki you always go to...well there are a total of three of them and you start out with one of those.
Now let's say you groom through every site on your home wiki and you cannot find more keys. Then you have to search (the sites and the source code) for a website ending with ".Ann" and that will be your 2nd wiki with a 2nd batch of websites for you to look through.

Always keep your door locked
Turn off all the lights in your apartment except for the light next to the bathroom
Whenever you here 2 honks, turn off your computer and the light next to the bathroom and hide in the shower (don't forget the bathroom light) wait in the bathroom for 5 mins especially if you here noise
Make sure to move your dos coin thing to a place where it shows up green to get the most dos coins
The breather comes out whenever you get a package when you buy something and you have to go and get it, make sure to go straight to the closet on your left and hide because he might be right behind you and you always just want to be safe so you don't die then if he is at your door, make sure to get close to the door and hold the door shut and listen to his breathing
Switch the Wi-Fi from time to time like every 10 mins, but some of them last 5 mins

Pikagurl27 ermm Two honks means that lukas is active... You should not hide in The shower unless you want to get killed by The noir.. You should only hide if you hear lockpicking or if you have purchased motion sensors that go off. The breather won't always be out in The alleway either even if you have purchased a package. He cant be there The first time and he is only there if you hear two knocks when you enter The alleway. Lastly personally I think only having one Light on makes The noir insta kill you later in The game past 12 pm. You should keep more lights on to prevent this.. Only downside is that you will have to wait longer for lukas to leave. Sorry for ruining all your tips lol
Pikagurl27 is wrong about a lot of things, but Daniel, so are you. The 2 honks don't mean Lucas is active, no one has proven this, the only reason people say it is because a streamer said it once. The honks also have nothing to do with the Breather. Noir also doesn't insta-kill you if you only have 1 light on, but they make the game harder by constantly making noises like humming, breathing, stomping and even knocking on your door to freak you out.
NoMercy 17 if you hide in The shower with all The lights off for we'll say 3 minutes While you wait for lucas to leave there's a chance that you Will get killed at your computer without getting The chance to even spot them at The window/door and They Will still just insta kill you at your computer

Jack here's an easy guide of the game
Step 1: First go to shadow market and buy a remote VPN or DOScoin maker and a backdoor (I will explain it)
Step 2: Place the DOScoin maker (it will be highlighted green if it is in a good position) you may have to go to different floors through the apartments to get the perfect spot
Step 3: whenever you get hacked FAIL OR DO NOT DO the first hack block it will lead onto the next hack block minigame this is where the backdoor comes into place. DOScoin plays a big role in this game so you need as much as you can, backdoor gives you DOScoin after you perform a successful SECOND hack block. I recommend you learn all the hack block tools, Also purchase WPA WiFi hack so you can get WiFi networks (switch between them when you are getting hacked or after 3 mins)
Step 4: as you progress through the game enemies will try to kill you here is a list to evade them
Police: DO NOT switch wifi networks frequently as this alerts them, also there are some sites that alert them which are impossible to evade and DO NOT stay on one WiFi for too long I recommend you switch every 5 minutes
Noir: DO NOT go close to the guy with the white mask, turn around for 30 seconds and they will go
The Breather: you won't be encountering him after you're halfway through the game but when you are going through the alleyways you may hear breathing or a phone or something like that run towards a door and enter and guard it, peek out as soon as you are there and then if he is there guard the door knob, if you see a slight opening in the door click and hold the door knob until the door has fully shut, do this for 1 minute until he finally leaves. DO NOT peek whilst he is trying to push the door
Lucas: Lucas looks like HITMAN or agent 47 and arrives between 11pm or 1am or the rest of the time, for this I recommend you buy 2 Motion Sensors and place them outside your apartment, one on the left and one on the right not too close or not too far you also need to buy the motion sensor sound alert to hear him. DO NOT look through the peephole on your apartment door as he can assassinate you from there. Hide in side the bathroom shower and cover your mouth (IRL) to stop the mic from receiving your voice so Lucas can hear you, wait approximately 1-2 minutes he will go. Also turn your computer off because he will delete your notes
The Doll maker: just dont go on the DOLL MAKER SITE
Step 5: look through the source code, hover your mouse on each piece of text or image and click if you see it be sure to note it down and get the 8 codes needed
Pro Tips and Requirements
Grab the flashlight
Lock the apartment door when you go back in
Check regularly at the windows
Buy at least 4 remote vpns and put them in good spots
You will need 250 DOScoin to complete the game
Turn the lights off in your apartment EXCEPT the one next to your desk and the one next to the bathroom
Hack new WiFi networks so you can switch I recommend you learn how to hack new WiFi networks

In Mark's newest stream, the Noir couple attack from the window if you have the lights off and is basically an instant kill.
Lucas can take up to 5 minutes to leave if the lights are left on.
But seriously, how has anyone managed to beat the game? You get ONE thing wrong, you're screwed.
Ash Winters I completed this it took me around 3 hours, and yeah i encountered the noir with some of the lights off I usually turn around or just go to the hallway and wait for the noir to arrive. Lucas takes 10 years to look for u (probably taking a shit lol) If you leave your lights on he takes even longer, I cover my mouth because my voice is picked up easier which makes the game even more immersive. I hide in the shower since it's better than the closet where it's easier for you to get assassinated by him.
Hiding in the closet doesn't get you killed easier, just don't peek. Also, it's quicker to get to the closet. You also don't want to only leave 2 lights on, because Noir will make noises like humming, breathing, stomping and knocking on your door to freak you out (this doesn't actually do anything, but it makes it harder to pick up other more important noises, and can distract you). Noir also doesn't insta-kill you, it's just impossible to see if they're there with the lights off. For Lucas, If you have a motion sensor, you have plenty of time to turn off the computer (otherwise he deletes your notes and steals DOScoins) and all the lights and hide in the closet.
