  • We took a day trip with Kaleidoscope Charters from Puerto Vallarta to Yelapa. On our way there we were lucky enough to see dolphins swim alongside the boat and then we went snorkeling. Once we got to Yelapa we toured through the village to see a waterfall. Then we had lunch on the beach and set sail back to Puerto Vallarta.

      I did…
Was waiting for the part in which it was assembled because I was very curious about the end result. Also wanted to know if it still existed.
      I’ve got both answers now… 😂👊🏻

Yes saw the video, literally built it from scratch. To transfer he cut it into 7 sections on back of many rigs to the dock and reassembled on water. So huge. Its amazing to build a super yatcht catamaran.

@@mohammednadeemanwar2213 Nothing was cut, it assembled like Lego. The engineering was amazing, especially since no computers were used to design this supercraft.

The "dude" has the type of home made credentials that only the builder of fantastic contraptions could have. Before that he built custom 3 wheelers based on the designs of Ed Big Daddy Roth, the OG Rat Rodder. These dudes are legendary in soCal, and he lives so humble. Legendary!

I lived in Canyon Lake by the north gate Greenwald/74 and would drive by his house/shop going to work and back. It was really cool to watch this thing take form (hard to miss) I stopped and talked to him a few times. It was so massive just sitting on this piece of property.

Does the story get told how this boat was built by one man in the desert 85 miles from water? Then cut up, transported and reassembled? Noah has nothing on him.

I just watched the build on this catamaran and was amazed. I wanted to see more information from when it was originally built till now but there seems to be nothing out there. Anyone have any info as to what happened between the 1990's and now? I dug up some info that suggests it was being used as a tour boat but was stolen in March of 2019 and it looks like it was returned but could not confirm anything.

I thought this yatch looks familiar after reading how it was built before and I was right. Imagine the original owner who built this yatch single handedly 85 miles in the desert, had to dissect it into 7 sections to be transported to the sea and rebuilt it and this yatch looks comparable to those built in a modern shipyard. He surely can employ a few helpers and start a multi million dollar yatch building venture

I am fascinated by the boat Kaleidoscope.... From my research this boat was made by ONE GUY over a few decades. There is a YT video. This is 100 foot long catamaran. When it was time to move it from where was built about 80 miles inland they had to cut it into pieces to move it, and then they welded it back together. The unique thing is this is an Aluminum Boat, not fiberglass or steel. I am trying to find out WHAT happened. Clearly it was sold and outfitted for charters. This is a real achievement by the man who made it.
