I personally don't understand people who say they miss Pulp. For me, Pulp=Jarvis and Jarvis=Pulp.

@@kramercapriati it was my grandad who taught him maths in high school. So here is the story. My grandad worked at a high school in Sheffield and suddenly this tall lanky guy arrived in his class. So my grandad was his teacher for a few years. And this tall boy turned out to be Jarvis Cocker. That's all I know.

Since the 90’s to the caves in , Castleton, I’ve been there. Loving that your embracing French electro pop with a noir minor key ambiance. Tingling lyrics deliver spine tickling spiriting carnival like confusion. What is prevalent is the title acting The last lyric! Well done Cocker!

This makes me miss Leonard Cohen a lot!
I love them both dearly, but I disagree. There is clearly more outside influence of other musicians on Pulp recordings. They chose their aesthetic and stuck with it for the bulk of their recording career. The three Jarvis full-lengths are completely different and much less skewed toward a pop sensibility. The first solo record comes closest to a Pulp album IMO.
