Why use mechanical switch(relay) to engage laser dc supply?? Why u not use mosfet as switch.. Almost no delay switch to controlling on and off laser

Thank you in advance. What type of power supply please to use, and where to find? The description says a 6” bolt and nut. The bolts looks longer then 6 inches. And what’s the diameter of the bolt?
