You should mention as well this "skill move" when you are stationary or about to tap the ball - hold R2 button (not dash, the other one) and move right analog stick to the direction, where you want to move the ball - after this, crosses are super curled and have higher accuracy. This is effective when you are not under pressure. I wish this animation could be a little shorter, because it adds accuracy to the shot as well and it would be used like players use it iRL when stationary near the penalty box, instead of doing this OP skill, you know - move in half left analog stick and dash to the other direction :P I found that cross, hmm.. quality? :D also depends on what angle to the penalty box you hit the ball. 90° is good for high crosses, about 45° is good for normal crosses and early ones. And I think dash reduces the accuracy, at least when you hit the ball at 90°. 45° + dash + normal cross makes it too tight, too fast and sometimes too low. Normal early cross is strange this year, the ball often fly very low, I like high early cross more. Oh and I hate when I normal cross in the area where you highlighted and it becomes more like a high pass instead of a cross. Then the receiver behaves more like he would like to tap the ball (and eventually moving back) instead of shot or make a header and sometimes adjusting it by super cancel is hard. So I make high early cross almost every time lastly :/ I hate these low crosses online! :P I wish defenders could perform a manually block like iRL - they pre-move legs or whole body to a pass/shot line early. "Manual" sliding tacles would be nice too, because now it's "locked" and can't even cancel it when you know you'll miss it or hit opponent's legs. It's yellow card plague for me this year :P It's strange, because sometimes sliding tackles are clear, hitting the ball and it's a faul and yellow anyway.

You then have options depending on your formation setup and advanced instructions. Wrong video for this question but how do you get better at defending. I always find when ever I score the comp scores immediately after. I track runners and even set my lines to defend but it's like they win every second ball and the Ai on my side makes the most lack luster decisions. It's infuriating to see the players you don't control not make a run or run the opposite way or other stupidness. Especially when teams like wigan start to play like Barca lol I live this game but it gripes on me sometimes. I don't mind losing as long as it's fair.
Hey dude, plenty of scripting this year. I've had it too mate. Not much you can do but do your best to defend or change your formation to 433 with 3 DMs. Swarm the box and deep defensive line works for me.

Its one of does things i hate, and they block off passing lanes, faster too, even when its seems you have a free man to pass to, before you know it, the intercepted the pass, and boom, its a goal. Its about keeping possession for a few minute as much as you can, will still happen but it minimises it.

Yes, it depends how much power you apply. Yep, they changed that to 2xO in... I can't remember (PES2014?).....but it totally sucks...I preferred height based on 1xO, 2xO or 3xO.

I know that form levels play a part in some way except for offline 1 v 1 exhibition mode yet its a very rare occurance. Often he'll be slightly down. Has spoony or anyone else noticed this? Its almost like he's being 'punished' for being soo highly rated!

I feel with this game that they could add the real life realism regarding having a proper league like the premier league together with playing online somehow. I feel its repetitive playing online league as there ain't really no reward as far as i can see and doesn't replicate any real life scenario's. Playing offline can give u this feeling in master league or league etc but the a.i is not as realistic or fun imo then playing a real life person to be frank. What's your view spoony?
What team you play and who u support? Did you use classic or challenge and did u use original master league team or normal team mode. I get a bit undecided with whether i should use the team i support (spurs) as i actually would like them to be in the game as normal when i play with setting that u play from scratch whilst it can seem more realistic and rewarding to start with a renowned under dog team like qpr.

I have to say PES 2018 was one of the most fun and greatest games ever made. PES 2019 since the release of Data Pack 2.0 has made it almost as good if not equal to PES 2018 imo.

One thing I forgot to mention... crossing inside the box gives you a FAR better chance of scoring. Chances of scoring go from 30% to 50-60%.

Hi mate, low pass = low passes. Low crosses are not affected by any stats other than kicking power. Lofted pass = any other type of high cross.

High cross is useful when you have no options to low cross and there are people at the far post.
