REMASTERED IN HD!! Official Music Video for Now That We Found Love performed by Heavy D & The Boyz ft. Aaron Hall. #HeavyD #NowThatWeFoundLove #AaronHall
Heavy D? Stole that song from Third World 1979: czcams.com/video/_5sA8WKxyjQ/video.html So don't give me the nostalgia about how great music was in the 80s. You couldn't find a singer or musician in the Hip Hop Top 10 in the 80s. All just ripped off samples of REAL hit music from the 70s.
One day, at my Newport Beach restaurant job, a man arrived a little while before we were open. I greeted him outside, and we talked for awhile. He introduced himself as Dwight and we chatted for about 20 minutes. He was genuine, kind, loving, funny, and I proper enjoyed speaking with him. He spoke a lot about his family and he listened to me talk about mine. He was just a normal dude. However, he stuck out in my mind because he was different than so many people you meet in the “fancy restaurant industry”; he was so sweet, he could hold a lovely conversation, and he just radiated a love for people (especially his family, that was clear). I’ve met many celebrities in my life, and I had no idea that Dwight was famous. I hope his family sees this and is reminded of just how many people he’s affected…. NOT as a celebrity, NOT as Heavy D, but as a human being.

joel bisson u need to have been there and lived in it. The fashion and culture and not to mention the music. Wow i miss my British Knights shell suit lmao. And my troop boots.
Used to cut lawns with this blasting from my walkman. Couldn't cut a straight line dancing with that lawnmower. I basically dated that lawn mower, until we got too close and it cut me off.
THEE ABSOLUTE BEST DANCE ERA when the "New Jack Swing" style came out. In my honest opinion only of course. I know every era has it's own but the 80's and early to mid 90's had the best dance songs you could ever imagine. It was so fun going to a night club. Never a dull moment with this kind of music playing. I miss it dearly. R.I.P. Heavy D. You are missed!
Throw into the mix UK Boys The Pasadenas and the Legend Alex O'Neal from the same era and we could LIVE every night in clubs .........................oh, did I forget yer main man Prince!! Yes you are right the best era for dance music clubs and fun - Women were fine too then....
One of the best from the 90s - there are so many things to love about this: - Rapping is 80s style but late 80s where it had got faster and slicker and MCs were becoming increasingly skillful - No swearing or gangsta references - Flow is top quality and enunciation very clear - Chorus hook and vocal performance is great - Dance beat is unstoppable and addictive - Video is 'street' with a dance crew, graffiti, and nice primary colours - Also bonus points for mentioning Buddha.
This song reminds me of some of the best days of my life. It brings back memories of the summers at the beginning of the 90’s: Nintendo Game Boy and Super Nintendo, Jordan and the Bulls, TMNT, Full House, Family Matters, Super Soakers, Pogo Balls, Nickelodeon, and all the other goodness. It was a great time to be a kid. We miss you Heavy D.
@@rayejohn79rj11 Another RJ, sweet! Thanks for the really nice reply man, I appreciate it a lot. Ya, no era is ever perfect, there are always problems and inequalities etc, but in general those times were really fun. During hard times it’s nice to have that to look back upon. You take care and stay safe!
1/23/24 Legend! Super talented! I absolutely love this song! Glad he was featured on Janet's "Alright" song. I love the simplicity of this choreography. Hop jump......hop....jump.....hop...jump... (Moves that the common folk can do!😅) I love main video dancer's short heeled yellow shoes! Sensible footwear!(not dangerous 👠 stilettos) RIP Mr. Dwight.
This is how rap is supposed to be. Rhymes without the use of curse words, all skill. Although I'm part of the new gen, I'll listen to this any day! 👍👍👍
Dana H a lot of people only like rap these days with cussing like Lil Wayne Jay-Z Rick Ross Drake and these so called rappers out now Heavy D didn't even cuss in his lyrics he kept his lyrics clean he also didn't rap about guns sex or smoking weed or drinking his lyrics are 100 percent clean

The "90's" was in my opinion "The Last Decade of really great Music!" R.I.P. "HEAVY".
Early 2000's Hip Hop and R&B was great.
yep early 2000's had some gems but it was pretty much the beginning of the end.
So narrow minded... You may not like modern pop, but you cannot say there is no great music made after the year 2000.

Sweet 90's when all kinds of music was listenable. Miss these days.
Forthelulz exactly! It’s like no matter what the genre was you could find something that you like.
You're being missed RIP Heavy😔
Seriously, I avoid listening to radio these days.
Listening to today's crap will make you vomit.
So true. I was radio station jumping because there was so much good music dropping everywhere every minute in the 90's
Used to cut lawns with this blasting from my walkman. Couldn't cut a straight line dancing with that lawnmower. I basically dated that lawn mower, until we got too close and it cut me off.
No body parts I hope!! 😉
Next year a 30-year-old weed trimmer goes to Beau Gaudreau's house to meet his real dad for the first time.

Broke a couple dishes cos of this song

Heavy D was the Man. R.I.P.
One of the best from the 90s - there are so many things to love about this:
- Rapping is 80s style but late 80s where it had got faster and slicker and MCs were becoming increasingly skillful
- No swearing or gangsta references
- Flow is top quality and enunciation very clear
- Chorus hook and vocal performance is great
- Dance beat is unstoppable and addictive
- Video is 'street' with a dance crew, graffiti, and nice primary colours
- Also bonus points for mentioning Buddha.
The fact that "hunky dory" made it into this song proves how awesome it is
Hello This Bernadette it's all good This is my son's phone phone holla at me
Lol
I’m doing my habitual rewatch of Life and I had to pause it because that’s Heavy D.
This is still fire.
1992 baby best year ever!
❤Heavy D & yes 2024.😂
This song reminds me of some of the best days of my life. It brings back memories of the summers at the beginning of the 90’s: Nintendo Game Boy and Super Nintendo, Jordan and the Bulls, TMNT, Full House, Family Matters, Super Soakers, Pogo Balls, Nickelodeon, and all the other goodness. It was a great time to be a kid. We miss you Heavy D.
Hell yeah the goooooood ol days..im right there with you RJ ..I miss those days too ..

This song is such a banger: Heavy D rapping, the EDM driving beat, the new Jack swing production
I'm 16 about to turn 17 and always loved this song
This is how rap is supposed to be. Rhymes without the use of curse words, all skill. Although I'm part of the new gen, I'll listen to this any day! 👍👍👍
Edgar Ferreras Just skill....that's all he needed.
Edgar Ferreras agreed
Dana H a lot of people only like rap these days with cussing like Lil Wayne Jay-Z Rick Ross Drake and these so called rappers out now Heavy D didn't even cuss in his lyrics he kept his lyrics clean he also didn't rap about guns sex or smoking weed or drinking his lyrics are 100 percent clean
Listen to his Don’t Curse song.
Torian McNeill eminem curses alot and he raps, but he actually raps well
For me this song playing at the finale of Hitch was a top three highlight of that movie. RIP, Hev
Heavy D has hits songs that makes you or anyone dance in enjoy dancing 🙏✌️
This is an amazing song 🎵......1,2 time to move & groove to this uplifting 🎶😜🌹😆💎💋😎
