I actually found the baking paper came off more easily than the tissue paper, but each to their own. Good vid

Great tip regarding the tissue paper.
Another tip - my mom uses an ugly square of fabric that stays on the inside when you turn the jar opener through to the right side since you don’t see it.

You can add a magnet in one corner and sew diagonally across to 'trap it' in the corner. Then it's handy to hang on the fridge.

Great idea, was just looking at my old Tupperware gripper this afternoon thinking it had seen better days, will definitely make some of these, great stocking fillers at Christmas time.

These were adorable, Nicole !! And so, so useful. I have 2 wedding showers coming up which will be great to make them and stick in with a few other goodies. I've also got my daughters baby shower right around the corner. So exciting. No, I'm not making one for the shower. 😂😂😂

Thank you for telling me about the tissue paper. The video that I watched just said to hold it up while you stitch. I just tried to do that and my little jar opener top stitches looks horrible. Now I know how to make it look so much better.

You’re welcome. Also the comment below yours said to use baking paper, I’m assuming they are referring to parchment paper. It’s worth a try.

What a great tip using the tissue paper! Would it be possible to sew an "x" on the front as well? Or do you think it would be too much to get off with the tissue paper?
