Today I am showing a second strategy for getting a Top 100 Score in the new Battle Ranking (Currently Rank 14 with a score of 835K!) which essentially solidifies myself in the Top 100 99% sure haha. Hopefully, for those of you still looking for a strategy to improve this could be it.

Looks like you're having fun there. The event is more compelling when you use it to better your strategies and such.
Itâs better when lag isnât horrendous thatâs true but truth be told I made this video for people hehe I just donât really think this event is that fun tbh :/
@BodhiJMSRyder Have you sent them feedback on the event? I am fine with it, but I do notice many are not. The last thing I want is for players to leave EC due to not being pleased with the events.

Not complaining but the random group placement differences in power.. I got 837k placed at 21 in my group. Itâs the highest I have ever gotten thanks to modifications to your initial stragt

Nice one for the video... I never got Sephiroths kuja blade.. so I used Barret with his weapon and aoe fire. Wasn't as effective but I got into top 100. Hopefully I stay there

Unfortunately, I re-joined the game way after the FF9 Event and New Year's, so no Kuja's blade for me nor flame arcanum, but I've still managed to pull some alternatives with MH's costume and Yuffie with her AoE ATK Down and Fire Resist Down.
I'm now in the Top 100 (57) with 808070 points, I don't think I will retry this if I drop below 100, I'll get the tickets and be on my way.

Very good,im at 815k whit all max out besides ho Is at 200%,im around rank 40 so i think its enough,bit definitivly i had to try this setup,super guide as Alwaysđ
I Just try now,I was rank 55 which worried me since today I was at 40 something, I exchanged Sephiroth with Yuffie despite having the Radiant Edge Ob6 but I don't have Kuja Spirit Blade so, wrongly, why didn't I debuffed the last remaining Sahajin by 3 levels I made 832k I'm now rank 29, I'll definitely try again, I think I can get to 840k

Niice job! I posted a comment on your previous video of a new team and score boost.
Basically using Matt instead of Aerith for heals and Pdef buffing. No Patk buffing used.
Centipede+Syringe for healing buffing worked out really well! Took a score boost of 825%(everything maxed out except HP stays at 1200%). I managed to grab about 15k more points and put into rank 7. I might be able to break the 900k mark if I adjust my team a little bit, but I'll wait till the last day to see where I am at.
Rank 10 in my group is about 20k points behind me, so I might be lucky and stay in the top 10.
I should add that my Cloud is an absolute BEAST with a fire build. He was somewhere around 6.5k-6.7k Patk, 11k HP, and about 140 Pdef. Fire Pot was at level 8 or 9.

I would say if you don't have kuja anyone can replace Sephiroth with Yuffie. She has 4-point shuriken that debuff PATK all enemies to mid in one use but need to be at OB6 min, fire imperil with bumerang and limit that boost PATK and MATK that can help if you can't have boost to high in one use. đ

Barret, cloud has iron blade that reduces patk for all. Ob 6 does mid Aerith has a weapon that also reduces attk for mid at ob6. Barret has newer weapon that does mid attack down to all to

Hello, at 4:45 you say you have no more hp + pdef weapon, don't you have valentine matt & tifa weapons ? They can even be better because we were able to +20 them.

Nice strat! I wonder if Elena decides to activate her sigil phase or not somehow depends on her remaining hp? My Cloud was dropping her hp too fast so she never used it. Had to change to 1200% hp buff for her and she finally activates it. Managed to get 855k and break top 30. Appreciate your vid bro

I am confused about something here.
I have pretty much the same cloud as you with the exception of "Glavenus Sword"
My stream is pretty much completed too so I don't understand two things here.
How is your Cloud reaching 166 atak power if using same equipment only give me 122k
Also it shows on your R abilities that Cloud shares to others 20 PATK for all allies, but you have not equiped anything that gives that.
How are you doing that?

It's the Stream Saber in my offhand that is sharing 20 PATK to all others. As for how my power level is that high, I can only assume it i has to do with my mainhand weapon being at 110, stream saber at 120, and my sub weapons being pretty decent?

lol I saw you chasing my tails yesterday, just 1 rank below me in group 12. I managed 838k with tonberry, but somehow I tried Elena with my average fire team and got 853k. You have better equipment than me so you can beat me. I'll share the tip with you lol.
1. The main thing that is reducing your score is damage taken. I took half damage compared to you, don't max enemy's attack. You have OB10 skysplitter and OB6 radiant edge, that's better than my OB8 sky and OB4 radiant. Your DPS is more than enough so make the enemy HP higher.
2. I actually just used level 77 Barrett with OB1 electro and OB2 assault to tank. Yuffie with OB6 arctic star and OB1 boomerang. I didn't use any heals for the fight because I don't max enemy attack, and Barrett is more efficient than Matt in raising def, it cost 1 less ATB and animation is much faster. Electro also has circle sigil which helps. As usual, equip the LB weapons for p attack up for all party on separate characters. Barrett is all Pdef, Yuffie mostly buff extension and bio, Cloud glass canon full DPS.

Yeah electro for att down assault for def up. But for you your optimal may be radiant kuja seph, assault tank Barrett, sky, MH cloud. Make sure you debuff all 3 and up your att for cloud before launching summons. I saw someone manage to get 940k with worse gear than you, he was using zack Barrett and seph. Very interesting strategy I have to find the video later, but he skipped the Sigil and confusion.
But sorry man, managed 888k now with my water team, itâs all about perfect execution with speed damage and reducing damage taken.

I swapped Matt for Barret. My cloud is only OB6 Skyplitter and I was able to do this with even more HP. Barrets agitation gets off much faster and with less ATB making Elneas damage much more manageable. Currently in the top10 (8) to my surprise don't see me squezing anymore without some form of DPS buffing. Likely be in the top 30 by end of the event. Helpful strat.

I have also come to realize that the healer doesn't really need much more than about 2.3-2.5k heals. Since you're max HP gets lowered with each attack, having anything over that amount quickly becomes overkill.

@@BodhiJMSRyder Keeping that in mind, I was able to stack both of the party wide Patk R.abilities on Matt and then one of the HP/Pdef boosting weapons. The materia was all for HP or Pdef.
That in turn allows more flexibility with Cloud and Seph. I actually put the Buster Sword on Cloud for his offhand.
