Tech With Brett , i can not find selective focus mode on my s9 plus camera ?
also , i have a problem with my video stablization , it sometimes turns off without my permission ?
What should i do ?
On the S9+ it is called Live Focus instead of Selective Focus. For video stabilization it turns off depending on what resolution you are set to but I am not sure why it might keep shutting off. You could try resetting the camera settings to see if that helps.
Tech With Brett , I did reset the camera setting & live focus gives me the choice of focus only before shotting the image
& video stablization worked properly again .. so is this normal ?

Just got the Galaxy S9 Plus and what a awesome camera! thanks for the video it was great. Need to watch it more than once tho as there is so much info on it.
Another tip: on Auto Mode, tap anywhere the screen to see a bulb bar display to adjust the exposure before taking a picture. Also work on recording.

Hi Brett, I just got the Galaxy S9+ in the camera function when I choose live focus, after I've taken a picture, how do I bring up the bokeh effect ( background blur shapes, eg stars, heart shapes, etc. I can't seem to figure it out. All I can see is the background blur function. I'm not sure what to do. :-(

Great video. What is the best setting for recording videos for youtube. I noticed my recent youtube videos have black bar at the top and bottom of the video. My earlier videos do not have those bars. Do you know what the adjustment should be to remove the bars at recording time? Or did CZcams change its settings? Thanks.
It depends on where you are watching them. What resolution are you using now? 1920x1080 or 3840x2160 are the standard resolutions that CZcams uses and won't have any bars on the top or bottom if filmed horizontally.

Hey there, I'm not getting that quick launch camera option on my S9 plus.
You can also drag out the camera button to turn it into a floating one. Just drag it back to its original place and it'll disappear again.

For some reason the selfie camera on my s9 is garbadge compared to my old Iphone 6s. I am wondering if there is an actual problem with my new s9 or that the selfie camera is just not as good as the old Iphones, any suggestions of what i can do?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but my understanding from another video on the subject suggested that you can actually use the audio that was picked up during the video part that hurts the most far-right option, can you confirm?
During super slow mo? Yes you can use the original audio it is just mute on the slow motion portion.
Tech With Brett I was under the impression that even the audio being recorded during the Super slo-mo session could be used during the playback of said Slow Mo sections
Only regular slow mo. With Super Slow Mo there is audio until it slows down then it is silent until the slow mo portions starts. At least that is how it works on my phone.

It needs to be able to see you and place a circle around your face. Then you place your finger on the heart rate monitor and when you let go it snaps the photo.

hi , what is the real difference between portrait mode of s9 plus to the selective focus picture?
The portrait mode on the S9+ actually 5akes 2 photos at the exact same time and gives you the option to choose exactly how far the background is. The Selective Focus on the S9 takes 2 photos as fast as it can and tries to attept the same thing but it can only be on or off. The S9+ works much better.

Samsung Galaxy S9 is an amazing I recently switch from iPhone to Android I chose the Galaxy S9 Plus because of more RAM on S9+ than on the standard S9 I also chose it because it still support the headphone jack and it doesn't have the stupid notch

How about switching the camera from rear to front while taking a video?

When I double click on s9+ power button. It does not open camera. Still have to use fingerprint to open and click camera. Would love to open camera with out going thou all that. What am I doing wrong
Check under the Advanced Feature settings to see if the option is enabled. As far as I have seen it should be able to work even if you have fingerprint enabled.
How to take photo on a hole that too dark inside and can capture whats inside
Is there any way to disable selfie mode? In auto and pro mode, almost every time I try to point on the screen to chose a focus point it jumps to selfie mode. It has caused me to miss many shots. I think this is a terrible design.
I am having that happen often as well. Might be something we need to send into Samsung.

My S9 canera is version 10.0.03.31, supposedly the latest version, but most of the settings and appearence are nothing like yours. Why?
they swapped positions of features and removed some features.

Do you have a beard? Sometimes that messes it up. Try keeping a straight face when turning it on.

So it is just slow when you open it or when you are trying to take a picture? Might be some app causing it or maybe you just need to clean the cache data in the storage settings.
Tech With Brett i dont know i cleaned the cache data but it stills lags like the wide selfie camera is perfect but when i put it to the normal selfie camera its not the same it starts lagging..
Do the pictures come out ok? I would either go to your carrier and maybe warranty the phone out or contact Samsung directly and see what they say.

Tech With Brett how long have you had it? I'm looking at reviews and it says that it tends to chip and scratch easily to show the white colored plastic underneath. Have you had the same problem?
