When Team Magma, Team Aqua, Team Galactic, Team Plasma and Team Flare debut in Pokemon Go. They use those Pokemon to battle with all Pokemon Go players has different aura other than Shadow aura which is normally used by Go Team Rocket.
Team Magma is Fire Aura Pokemon.
Team Aqua is Water Aura Pokemon.
Team Galactic is Space Aura Pokemon.
Team Plasma is Lightning Aura Pokemon.
Team Flare is Light Aura Pokemon.
Team Skull is Stone Aura Pokemon.
These form of Pokemon has at least better in terms of attack, defense and stamina during battle in Go Battle League pvp, pve, raid, gym, team leaders and villainous npc.
Unlike Shadow Pokemon, these forms of Pokemon can't be purify it.

Zoe, love your video’s Been watching you for a while. I have question. I bought the New York ticket, but I’m not gonna be able to go work issues. I was wondering if I still played here on that date could I still get the shiny in the raids, should I even bother with the research?
I believe (based on the Sendai event) as long as you're in the city/game area you should still be able to get the shiny. I'm not sure the radius of the city play for NYC but last year it was pretty huge! So hopefully your work is still in the zone 🤞 Good luck for it!
