How to Bind a Traxxas Transmitter and Receiver

- The transmitter and receiver are bound at the factory. Should you ever need to re-bind them, or if you wish to bind an additional receiver to the transmitter, all you have to do is press and hold the transmitter's SET button as you turn it on. Press and hold the receiver's LINK button as you power up your model, then wait for the transmitter's and receiver's status LEDs to turn solid green-which only takes a second or two.
I just bought a new receiver and it doesn’t do that, it doesn’t blink when it’s turned on and I have no clue what to do

@@raven2wolfbane6045 speed control channel 2 steering channel 1. There are two channel 1 so make sure that the speed control is in channel 2.

i have a traxxas slash 4x4 ultimate with the old transmitter. Sometimes i have quality link problem. I have a g500 with the new transmitter. Can i bind the new transmitter with the old slash? Can i pair both the G500 and the SLASH with the same transmitter (obviously not using at the same time:)?

The transmitter and receiver are a pair. If you have a traxxas remote you'll need a traxxas receiver. If you have spektrum you'll need spektrum.

What sucks is, you HAVE to have the small hexagonal tool/driver to get into where you need to. And it sucks because literally "NO TOOL = NO PAIRING" I am referring to the Receiver box itself. You need to hold the button down

Do I need the wireless link module on the transmitter to link a new receiver or can i link it without the wireless module?
Love this video. Saved me lots of head akes.
Everything shows green however my steering doesn’t work. I went up a Rock garden and all was good. Went home tried it out and my steering doesn’t work. The wheels also feel loose and floppy. It’s a Mercedes 6x6.
Will it connect to any RC other than Traxxas ones? If not, can i just replace the receiver with any other?

I fly quads with it.
It has expensive haul gimbles.
No potentiometer fails just moving wires that need to be repaired after a year of daily use.
This receiver is on the list of compatable receivers.
if you put a tqi bluetooth set in a non traxxas car does all the things work like motor temperature and all that stuff
If you have a Jumper T12 Pro transmitter, Traxxas is on the list of compatable receivers.
My receiver doesn't have a "link" button. I have the Grave Digger monster jam truck. Help.

What if it only shows a red light that is not blinking on the receiver? My vxl3 s is only blinking green. I seem to not be able to get a connection at all? I have tried binding, resetting, bought a new receiver. Only used my Hoss twice now with a total of about 35 minutes. Help

My receiver won’t go into pair mode it will just turn on and the light would stay green
Worked Perfectly. All it took was 2 tries

It doesn't works with TQi TRX4 transmitter, holding set button doesn't turn into fine mode when transmitter is turned off. HEEElP!

My traxxas transmitter destroyed. So I have to buy new transmitter or. Transmitter and receiver both.
