Fuck going to school. They need to start a father-daughter run mowing company. With the amount of equipment they already have they can just rake in the cash and Hope can take over the business when Woody turns 800 in a few years.
I don't think Hope is fit for manual labour.. Most women aren't built for it.
+Thatguyuknow2550 well they're built for rape according to woody... JK I LOVE YOU WOODY
I swear I've read this comment and it's replies before. I got a weird feeling of deja vu.
+IcyThaneProductions you fucking savage
I was thinking they should do that but not Hope. Woody and Colin.
7:50 Never seen someone get so pumped to remember what they were going to say xD
Its woody he always does that lmao
editing the video to the beat was interesting the first time, but it seems overdone when theyre done so close together. the scenery is essentially the same every cut.
just my two cents. good video.
a good two cents tbh
Matraxia the top 1/10 of one percent of two cents?
It was very good in the Grass Cutting Drone scene! But i think this is helpful criticism
Yeah when you do the cut you have to cut to different things and not a second forward
I go to ECU! Its a great school and I don't regret it! Hope would love it.
Woody, the University of Alabama, depending on grades & ACT/SAT score offers in-state tuition for out of state tuition. In fact, the majority of the students that go there are out of state students. Worth it to check out.
For out of state students *
I don't think tuition is an issue
+FalloutNewVergas it is when she has to cover cost beyond a certain point
+FalloutNewVergas you obviously didn't watch the part talking about tuition
Bama is expensive AF anyways. My best friend just dropped out his sophomore year because of the cost of tuition. He was on a,for the most part, full scholarship. Though,as i'm sure you're aware,Bama doesn't offer full rides to anyone not playing sports. Anyways, this guy made a 32 on the ACT and got a full education scholarship to UoA. Dropped out because of housing costs and losing the scholarship...because he actually wants to have a life.
GO PIRATES!
Woody, I think the best option and cheapest would be to send Hope to a community college for two years and then have her finish at a university. She'll still be getting the same degree and it'll be much cheaper. It's not like an employer will be like "I see you got your degree from UNC but your first two years you went to community college, so we wont accept you. If only you'd went to UNC all 4 years we would've taken you."
I don't think Woody has to worry about paying for her college
Byron Garcia nope..lol compare his house to the surrounding ones and you get your answer
It isn't the same experience, and it can be significantly harder to transfer to particular schools. Also, it isn't like Woody can't afford it or anything…
It's not as good of an overall experience. That's really only for people who need to do it for finical reasons.... Not Hope
A NEW APPLE VIDEO EVERY DAMN DAY Sorry, I only listen to the opinions of people who post pear videos every damn day. Thank you.
Honestly every college tour I took was so fake and the "school ambassadors" were fake and my family and I could tell that they were doing their job and what they had to do to promote their school. What we ended up doing was finding people we knew that went to each school we visited, or at least as many as we could and then got the "real" tour. That's ultimately what made me make up my mind. Also if you can pick a weekend to stay at a school with a friend that goes to the college really helps out as well. I chose Purdue from doing this and has been one of my best decisions I've ever made.
To add on, you also need to explore the surrounding area. For me I went to UMass Amherst because it looks similar to my parent's alma mater and the area was beautiful, had a good bus system and had 4 other colleges, two being sister Ivy schools
Hello fellow Boilermaker! #BoilerUp
I was hoping I would find someone else from Purdue in here.
I agree, it's important though to really make sure you stay with a friend or someone you know who actually goes there so they can really show you around the campus and area, since you guys will be the ones attending the school, not your parents. just another gripe I have about these college visits is that they try to get the parents too involved. The fakest and "nicest" schools I visited were and still are some of the worst to attend.
#IUsucks
I love ECU parties. It's one of the two places to be during Halloween.
Hope, yes, ECU is well known for partying, but there is a lot of partying at many other schools, even those that appear to be "Christian-centered" schools. If you're an education major, ECU has one of the best Colleges of Education in the state. In fact, each one of the schools within the UNC System has several strong programs. You should apply to Davidson, Duke, and/or Wake Forest, as you appear to be an extremely high achiever who would be able to get into the more highly selective schools. Best wishes.
Damn that was really slick, nice job woody.
Cook-out is the greatest place ever
I'll be a sophomore at UNC in August and first year was pretty awesome. Definitely look into it, but I have friends at Chatlotte, App, and ECU and they love their schools too. Just pick the school that feels like the right fit! That's the important thing in my opinion
WOOOOO ep 72, this means more to me than you think.
Nobody better for car singing/grooving than Oh Wonder! Keep churning out the excellent vlogs Woody; they've become integral to my daily viewing habits.
South carolina is not on par with UNC, a similar school to unc that is close, would be UVA
Both are basically impossible to get into if you're from out of state
Sounds right. WI, MN, IL, and MI have certain schools that you can get in state tuition if you live in any one of those states.
Im going to ECU this fall and it's super cool seeing y'all tour my future school!
Hope should look at Clemson, it's kind of isolated, but a top 20 public university nonetheless, hoping to transfer there after my freshman year at Charleston Southern
I love the quote at the end, Woody. Too true, too true.
I have lived in greenville my whole life. ECU is a great school!
sorry to hear that ;)
You should put a gopro on the car hood (on the outside).
I just graduated from ECU Woody. If you have any questions let me know. I think ECU is more of a big party school by the way.
I really like this because I'm also 17 looking for colleges!
ECU is a great school, Greenville is a shit city though. I can't wait to finish at ECU and get out of this city.
A lot of out of state schools give big scholarship to kids with good grades to draw them to their schools and off set the cost of out of state tuition.
Don't be scared to go to a school that might not be an academic dream. You can get big scholarships.
Hi woody I'm from Germany and really enjoy these videos. especially the drone footage! It's very interesting to me to learn more about american college life and seeing the gigantic (!) campus from above. Looking forward to more videos like this!
I really enjoy having hope in the videos so much it's awesome!
Im not sure what Hope's test scores are but if she plans on applying to Uni of Penn. she might wanna check at Duke as well. Just closer to home and similar in price (you never know what scholarships she might receive)
Am going to be a senior in high school this year, and just recently visited East Carolina. I'll agree that it's a safety school, but it is a really cool campus. I thoroughly enjoyed it there. UNC is also a cool place, really good college town vibe. UNC Charlotte is a good one too. Similar academic level as ECU, but right near the city with a gorgeous campus and an amazing tour which is nice.
What did Hope get on the ACT? Or is it called SAT in your area?
Some private schools are very generous with there financial aid bring there cost down more than you might initially think possible
Hope should look at Auburn. WAR EAGLE!
No need man, no need
I would highly recommend checking out Cal Poly if you can travel to the west coast. Yes, it is very far, however it does have one of the top 10 undergrad programs in the country for a lot of STEM degrees.
depending on what hope is wanting major in and how far out of North Carolina she wants to go I'd recommend looking at The Ohio State University.
Check out UNC Chapel Hill! Great school for a great financial value. The acceptance rate is roughly around 29% but I'm sure she could get in!
Every school except NC State is 60% female, NC State is the only one that has more guys than girls.
"It's like 60% female (meaning they are accepting less females atm)" Uh no, that means they are accepting more women. If you're implying they are going to ramp down the acceptance of women due to the school being 60% women then you are also wrong.
No way honestly i go to ECU and will be a sophmore engineering major. If you need any help or have any questions let me know haha. I lived on college hill in a dorm this past year.
Cheer wine is my favorite drink as well lol. I live in Florida so it's rare to find it in the grocery store but I get it literally every time I go to nc which is pretty often
Oh my god those rapid quick cuts drive me crazy!
when I first read the title I didn't see the "East Carolina University" part and I thought to myself how are they visiting an engine control unit...
I go to ECU!
305th
wish you had more info on the college: from student's in New England
Check out Clemson if you are going to look at SC schools
Woody! I'm a University of South Carolina Grad and they give in state tuition + scholarships for grades+SAT scores. It was cheaper for me than community college.
Woody, I loved the way you put the title in the video like that, sounded great, looked great. Keep that up!
Thank you. I actually spent a good 15 minutes trying different things out. I didn't have any footage from before the drive and needed to set the stage somehow.
ECU and Upenn are completely different lol
Ecu is nicknamed easy credit university for a reason.
She should definitely check out UGA. Athens was recently voted #1 college town in the United States and the academics would definitely suit Hope! Average SAT score was 1395 2 part, 31 ACT, and 4.01 GPA weighted GPA.
It was my first choice. Best campus in NC. UNC-CH is on par with ECU and if walking up hills are your thing you may even like it better.
SMU class of 2020 right here. Great school! Just expensive :p
I'm doing summer research there currently. BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS AND BEAUTIFUL GIRLS!
Check out UNC for sure. Really good school but not without a true college experience (like you might get at one of those private institutions)
Woody have you ever watched Narcos? It's a show about Pablo escobar, it's really good. You and the pka crew should watch it.
I just graduated college, and this is making me really miss college life.
What drone does he use?
That's where I'm going!
i hope she doesnt get in with "ashoein" grades. Go take that negativity up to Cheatin Hill
I cant stop watching these
I go to the University of South Carolina and it's a real nice place. You should check it out like you said you might.
Love the college visits
Love the drone shots
I'm pretty sure Hope is a lock for any public school with all of her AP classes and extra curricular activities.
what does she want to major in?
I got scholarships to northern colorado university and 9ts awesome there
What UK university would be the equivalent level of ECU? I am curious, as an Englishman, what this kind of place (which no offence, but i have never heard of) is actually like educationally! Here we only really hear about Ivy league uni's
This video makes me teally proud of my cousin for getting accepted to harvard last summer.
Don't be too scared of the ivys, test scores beyond a point don't matter much. They are worth touring at the very least.
So it seems like she's applying to UNC Chapel Hill, that's great.
She should limit the safeties and add more matches and reaches (possibly UVA, USC, Yale, and Duke). Fuck it, try to get into the best schools possible.
woody ecu is a great school! if your looking to learn about X and alcohol... i went there for 1 year and im still recovering. i admit its largely my decision but its a party school.
If I could give Hope one bit of advice it would be to look at as many universities as possible. It's a mistake I feel like I made when applying
WE WANT FLIGHT!!!! Another good vlog though. Thanks for the upload Woody
We had the tour on the same day!!
Highly recommend taking a look at the University of Delaware, Honors Program
Does she want to stay close to home? If not I think WWU (western Washington university) would be a great fit for hope. They're big into a lot of the interests and subjects Hope is interested in and it's pretty affordable (this is more for you woody).
I live in Greenville and I live right by ecu but I like nc state
😂
Yay! A normal video! Love your vlogs woody :)
Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!
Look at some good schools like in the north east or B1G
Hope and Jackie have the exact same voice
Check the University of Arizona it's great for what you want to do, maybe I'm biased because I go there but I think you would love the campus
The University of Alabama has an amazing campus and tons of clubs. Come try us out!
Cookout ftw. Perfect college student food. Cheap as hell and delicious.
I'm probably really late, but Woody are you from NC?
Really nice drone work!
You should look at Campbell, a private school in Harnett County
What's hope's intended major??
Woody, I'm from California and I have some advice for your daughter. I will be a senior in HS this year and I talk to my school counselor all the time and what she says is that, for me, my grades - 4.0 CUM HS (I assume Hope has somewhere near the same), and the profession - Finance - I choose to pursue, the best place to go is UC Santa Barbara. But why is this important? Well, Hope is struggling to choose just one school and this trick will help to narrow it down to _at least_ 2 schools. For me, I didn't even know what a good school would be for me and I thought I would have to end up just going to the safest college, but when my counselor told me about this one simple trick, the choice was simple to go to UCSB. According to my counselor, the best thing to do to select one's uni is to just google which school has the best program for one's intended major in one's region (which happened to be UCSB). However, you may be asking, "why does it matter where Hope gets her degree from?" My counselor said that it isn't because getting a degree from one school is better than another, but what you are really gaining from a good school is the connections. One will meet other people who are extremely intelligent who are studying the same thing as you might and those people can help you later in one's professional life (possibly by starting a business with you or recommending you to a place where they also work). One can also gain connections through his/her professor. As my counselor said, one's professor in college might see your outstanding performance in the classroom and would be more inclined to write letters of recommendation which would help you to find a job later on. Anyways Woody, I hope some of this advice can you help you and your daughter.
these drone shots are sick
I highly recommend looking into Flagler College. BEAUTIFUL and historic campus, friendly people everywhere (how can you be an angry person in St. Augustine, FL?), excellent professors and relatively small class sizes for more personal education experience (average ratio of 19:1), and last but certainly not least, low tuition even for out-of-state. $29,000 TOTAL w/out fasfa or merit scholarships (Hope would definitely get a good one). Just a little heads-up if you're looking for an awesome school at an awesome value! ;D
I would be very interested in this but the Majors they have seem to be very limited. Well for at least for myself.
ImHardHat You're not wrong.^ Haha well let me rephrase some of that. If they have what you want to study, it's a great option.
Logan MLG Hopefully by the time I am applying they might have expanded into more Science majors. I would 100% go if it had the major I want
Hope got a 🖐🏻 head.....
I worked in the library down there
Cook out is the best woody. Get the peanut butter fudge milkshake!!!
Woody's face in the thumbnail is gonna give me nightmares
Can tell Woody has watched some Hitch videos
Woody y'all should come to Clemson!
Go Pirates
hope, if you want to go into math or engineering got to NC State, if you want to go into any science field, go to UNC, problem solved, you will have no trouble getting into either of them
I feel like if hope started a CZcams channel it would do really well
When are you going to try and fly again?!?!
Take her to App State! The adventure is never ending!
