I’ve been rewatching these episodes because of lockdown, and I keep laughing at Paddy and the Tea... Serious conversation and he’s all about his tea... no milk, extra sugar... He was more upset by that than Robron possibly getting back together. LoL. God, I miss Robert!
C’mon Aaron, dump Alex and tell Robert you wanted him all along. The writers are going to drag this threw a couple of episodes until all viewers suffer from true panic-attacks :)
I dont dislike Alex because of Robron. I dislike him because hes dull as dirt. I was all for Aaron dating someone nice and new, but its so obvious he hes not into him and its painful to watch.

I like seeing Robert being the jealous instead of Aaron. His face when they left was funny but then again you can’t help but feel for him (he brought it on himself.) I love how Alex interrupted them with a silly excuse that can happen when you work in a hospital, what a great way to leave an awkward conversation.

I think its more of a storyline annoyance. Not necessarily that he's a horrible character but because its obvious he's just a plot point. So every time we see him it just starts to get annoying. If he was a legit love interest and Aaron was interested in him truly, I could understand Robron haters POV's more. People still wouldn't like him though because at the end of the day its a different person getting in the middle of their "Ship". I mean, its this way for every single popular pairing on any show lol. What is there to understand? Its just obvious that no Robron fan is going to like any third party, no matter how nice they are... I see your point about Aaron, he continues to lead Alex on, that is true. However, I think some people viewed in the beginning as Alex being a bit too aggressive. Just constantly showing up without letting Aaron know...calling Aaron his boyfriend very quick. Didnt he already say he loved him too? (i could be wrong on that one)... And to me, when someone claims they are sick and gets out of dates often, and continues to hang around their ex, thats a clear sign that that person maybe isn't into the relationship 100%. And yet Alex continues to stay with Aaron even though its pretty obvious he's not really that into it. I find that frustrating to watch. I want Alex to wise up and move on. He is nice, thats true. But I think he's being a bit naive. And I also just find him boring as a character.

So no, he's not just there, he's trying to be a good boyfriend to Aaron, but its hard to be that when your boyfriend is giving you mixed signals all the damn time. Do you even know the life of a doctor ? The only thing I see that's annoying is "Robron" fans and Aaron and Robert dragging any and everybody into their drama filled, turmoiled, hectic, headache induced, bipolar, attention seeking, low self esteem relationship. For both characters to either be 30, or over, they act younger, if not the same age as Liv. Alex is the only mature one out of all three.
Robert has been the biggest cry baby of 2017 in the show and now some people think a doctor cannot have a moment after getting himself in a very serious situation for his proffesional career? Hilarious, as usual. This fanbase is hilarious. I don´t enjoy anything related to AAron/Alex now anyway cause they only tried for 2 or 3 episodes months ago. Now it is painful to watch how they have not cared at all and the reunion is here except for the very basic drama it seems they are going to show us. Just let Alex go if you were never interested in building a semi-good story with him. What a terrible year.
