Let us not forget Jesus sat and ate with the tax collectors and the sinners and when the teachers of the law who were the Pharisees saw him eating with them they asked his disciples : "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners"? (why did Tasha make a able with Nicki?) and when Jesus heard this he said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners". So if you find your self puzzled by this collaboration remember our greatest example and that's Jesus. Tasha did not go into her world but Nicki came to hers and who knows what that visit could have done for her life. The ultimate goal is not to hold this salvation to ourselves but to reach a dieing world and to do that sometimes you got to do things that will confound the wise...Anyhoo be blessed we all are only saved by grace and covered in his righteousness, that's the only difference between the saved and unsaved.

Yeah, he ate with them so he could minister TO them, no where do you see Him joining up with them, collaborating with them or having them assist Him in ministry. What many of you do not seem to understand is that "worship music" is sacred. When we "worship" we open our spirits up, if the anointing is pure on the person ministering in song, and music, it touches our spirits and takes us "up". If the person is not pure, or they have someone joining them with "another spirit" that comes in while we are worshipping. That song Nicki did with Tasha is a perfect example...Tasha was singing first and we worshipped...then Nicki came in with her verse with that foul whorish spirit and that flowed into people because their spirits were open due to Tasha. This should not be. Far as what it did for Nicki's life?...Hmmm, let me see...this month she is on the cover of "Paper" magazine, naked having a Minaj Trois with herself supporting orgies, lesbianism, and perversions. Seems to only have solidified and validated the lifestyle she was living. No one can excuse or justify this mess and before you attempt to actually read the entire Bible not a few verses that make you feel good about your own compromise.

I don't normally comment, but I just have to say that all of these negative comments from these Christians are actually very interesting and funny to read. Always ready to judge other people (celebrity or not) instead of just focusing on how they're seen in the eyes of God/Jesus Christ. I used to struggle with believing in God while listening to all of the mess and people that come from the church, but I've had to learn that I have to focus on who God is and what he called us to do and believe. I thought the Bible spoke about judging others sins with truth, LOVE and RESPECT. I haven't seen an ounce of LOVE or RESPECT in most of these comments.....John 8:1-8...Luke 6:37-38. The gospel message is that Jesus died for our sins and that were saved by grace through Faith. It’s that simple. People who are trying to scold Tasha for working with Nikki are making up your own rules of what it means to be saved. Don’t complicate the message of the gospel don’t lean on your own understanding who are you to say that Nikki isn’t saved we ALL fall short of the glory of God everyday knowingly.
Christians don’t WANT to sin against God, but because of our human nature we do. We don’t sin intently, we don’t want to that’s why we ask for forgivness! Nicki is the same one who says with her mouth that she loves God, and then uses that same mouth to curse people! And it’s not like she apologizes, she is prideful, all we can do is pray for her, the truth has hopefully been revealed to her, but if she doesn’t want to come to the light, we can’t force her.

To answer your first question: What makes you think she is not carrying *her* Cross? What do you know about *her* Cross?
I mean by that, that we are all part of the body, the Body of Christ. But the parts dont have the same fonction...not even the 5 fingers.
Everyone has it's very specific Cross I believe. For Some is to be God's front runners, Like John the Baptist, Peter or Paul. Some are to become Prophets and create a plateform for others to Shine Like the Prophet Samuel. Some are the Actions Men of God like Samson or Leaders Like Joshua and King David, Some are the Builders for God like King Solomon and the Prophet Nehemiah.
Some are exposed *to the world* at a young age, like Samuel and Jeremiah... others at an advanced age Like Jesus, Abraham etc... that doesnt mean they didnt know God or had a relationship with him from Day one, it just means that now it is exposed.
So to recap: No one but Nicki & God knows about her Calling, Her Cross and her Faith. If someone says he/she's a believer and Follower of Christ, unless their actions affect me directly, I now choose to believe them immediately.
Obviously What you choose to do lies in your heart posture. But saying "I'll pray for her" while mitigating her own Truth is not giving love sincerely. Love is a command from Jesus. Loves is also translated as "Charity", the Gift of Love 😊
So here loving her would mean Giving her the gift of accepting what she says about herself as True.

I cried when I listened this song and I don't like gospel but God was talking to me and Tasha played on my new ,car ,and first time I played a Christian radio but Nicky was there and I love Nicky songs ( this car ,a Jaguar took me three years of savings and to buy it free of debt was a miracle overall as a single mom of three with no financial support from their dad) ,the day I took the car from the dealer it was my dream come true, I cried God was talking and overflowing and I was ready!

She may not understand that Satanists have an agenda to get evil spirits into people's homes via the music. & this is where the real deceit lies, is the belief that you can just "believe" in God without confessing & turning away from your Sins. So yeah, some Nicki fans may purchase Tasha's album, but what are they really learning? How many of Nicki & now Tasha's fans will be deceived into a lukewarm faith where they feel they can stay in their sin & believe in God & be alright? Nicki would've needed to publicly renounce the agenda she preaches (gnosticism & all kinds of other filth) before I would've felt comfortable to know she was truly repentant of the type of poison she spews to the youth through her music- without repentance & receiving Jesus, it's just simply not Biblical for a person to say they worship the same God a Christian worships.

Beautiful testimony I remember before getting saved I wouldn't buy or rarely listen to gospel I did but not over secular music even though I grew up in the church and so to hear people say they bought some gospel I can relate and this is Beautiful tasha is my favorite gospel artist and before I got saved when I would listen to a lot of secular music nikki was my fav so I am so in love with the song I pray GOD BLESSES YOU TOO ABUNDANTLY FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND OBEDIENCE EVEN WHEN IT IS NOT POPULAR
Personally I think If the church comprised less we would be much more effective in winning souls for God's kingdom. Maybe this is a way for God to reach that one. I don't see this as a good thing for the already lukewarm church. It's keeping compromising comfortable. For instance, "Tasha said nicki has a good relationship with God" (Good relationship with God = Can enter Heaven after death) . Yet after this song Nicki will still be promoting sexual imagery. Not slipping up and sinning, but deliberately making plans for music, videos, and photo shoots to promote sex. And we are to flee any form of sexual immorality if we are truly for God. Now if Nicki changes and makes music that glorifies peace, joy, and holiness then that is a different story. Hopefully she does that.

Okay let me break it down so my point to you is understandable. First of all if someone wanted to come to Christ, they wouldn't suddenly make a collab. (I will explain later) but if she did it for the record deal to sabotage an image of a gospel artist or create confusion amongst Christians, then that is the devils works!!! Back to why I don't think she was "called to be a gospel singer". One thing I noticed whilst doing research to see if nicki didn't make any latest song in the same satanic music industry, was I found a video that she is ft with Fergie that was released 3 weeks ago! Another video was released 1 month ago which was the same month "getting ready" (nicki ft tasha)was released. Doesn't this give a sign about anything????? Does someone who has been called from God able to be RE-CLAIMED by satan? Can one have one foot in for Jesus and one foot out? Can a Kingdom be divided against itself? The book of Matthews & Mark both mention about this! If you have an ear, hear what the word says. Noone can be part of satans kingdom and part of Gods kingdom because such kingdom cannot stand. I'm sorry but the answer is right in front of you if you can't seem to notice this then you need to ask for the spirit of discernment. The purpose of the song is to point people to JESUS! Many scriptures in the bible reference "praise" and admonitions to worship. With the responsibilities as musicians, it comes with big challenges and it is unfortunate that music and who's singing it, is one of the more controversial things in the life of the church --- Everybody has an opinion. Our sins may not be as visible as Nicki’s and even if we are living for Jesus we still sin. Tasha was saying how she became close to Nikki, how she learn that she had a Christian upbringing etc etc etc and how they became close friends. When Nikki asked her to be in the album, instead of feeling the pressure to do so I think she should have just taken the time to ask god about it, see what he really wants. She should of done that and told Nikki about it and Nikki should understand that. If it turned out to be a yes then that's great, if it's a no then there would be a red on for it.

I have a serious question to ask you all who's bashing those believers who's opposing the collaboration. Please show me in God's Word where Jesus "worked" with "sinners" for ministry sake? How dare we even use Jesus' encounters with "sinners" as grounds to give someone a pass to "praise God" on an album. Jesus is God, and last I checked, He didn't need any assistance with His ministry. Remember, Jesus already knew who was with Him and who would betray Him (Judas). However, God's Will was accomplished because He obeyed, not because He worked with "sinners" to spread His message. Now, it's obvious where I am with this, but that's not the point. The reality is Jesus will get glory out of ANYONE WHO TURNS AWAY FROM THEIR SIN, AND TRUST HIM FOR THEIR SALVATION. Let's be real, some of us (believers) are so quick to protect someone who we love and support. That's fine, but to a degree. We have to be honest with one another when we're wrong, and even call it out if/when necessary. Even Paul called out Peter before the whole assembly (Galatians 2:11). Was Paul wrong for this? Did Peter lose his faith and was departed from the body? (Obvious answer) We need to understand that WE WILL ALWAYS COME UP SHORT, but that's NOT an excuse to EXCUSE a brother or sister while at the same time boldly use scriptural sounding clichés, and taking scripture out of context, as if we "got it altogether." Jesus said the world will know us by our love for one another and we will know false leaders by their fruits. All believers should study to show themselves approved and all believers should be capable of receiving correction when necessary. That's actually a sign of our love for one another. I don't know neither of these women personally, but believers should be ready to judge (evaluate) ANYONE claiming the name of Christ. Many may not agree with me, and that's fine, but I will leave you with this thought. If God is literally involved in this collaboration, then watch the results and their fruits, because God's Word WILL NOT return to Him void.

Remember, we're told to test all spirits, because many false prophets are in the world, and most are claiming to be of God. Let's think about this for a sec. If/when we (believers) sin and/or come up short, what do we immediately do (or should we do)? Repent! I'm in no way doubting Mrs. Cobb-Leonard salvation. Her fruits will speak for her. Many non believers are either being led astray because of the confusion of "light" having fellowship with darkness, and thus spawning wickedness within the body. We are looking more like greedy hypocrites than brothers and sisters willing to die for the gospel. Trust me, I was the same way until I read God's Word for myself and denied the common cliches which actually indirectly excuses people to cover their sin or sin even more. Yes, we are to represent the Gospel to the world, but how can we do it it we're creating our own traditions (or cliches), and thus make the Word of God of none effect?

I see your point. But I also want you to consider the fact that Tasha isn't "Fellowshipping" per se. What I got out of this was in the 4 years Tasha was the one Nicki would call when she needed Spiritual advice. Which in fact we are supposed to be. Ultimately I disagree with the collaboration in itself, but after reading and studying the Word. I've come to realize that not every vessel is "prominently" used by God but some are "seasonally" used. Anybody can be saved all you have to do is just believe in Jesus. Case in point: The new testament. So sis I just wanted to say that there were times in my life that I had sex before marriage, I got drunk, I popped pills, I was in broken relationships, I didn't know who I was, I was lost, I lied, cursed, didn't believe in God (anti Christ) and some more things that I've done that you and I both know is and was unacceptable in the eyesight of God. Although I didn't deserve what he had prepared for me he gave, I was naked and he clothed me, I was hungry and he Fed me, I was lost and he sent someone in my life to help me get back on track with him. Oh how I love our Father. You know sis, they say that the greatest commandment is to love thy neighbor. I'm glad somebody loved me enough to had seen the best in me although people knew my business and so I had shame to serve God. but God said dont worry about people and what they think. I'll never forget the time when I sold drugs and I smoked marijuana. That was one of the most embarrassing moments when I got saved to remember. (not any longer) because now that I have relationship with God I don't just read my Bible I live it daily, I'm able to experience his grace, love, and mercy thats new everyday. I also got to experience the God of second chances. The God of total restoration. I experienced his strong and UNDENIABLE deliverance power. See sis, I know what you're saying about that scripture pertaining unto saved people not tangling themselves with the unsaved. But I must admit that had God not sent someone to help pull me out of it all I'd probably be dead sleeping in my grave. Most importantly his son that died for the remission of ALL of my sins. Sis I get Joyful when I think about what he's done for me. So sis I i am an embassador of Christ and so I don't wanna argue with you about this and that and what verse says this and that. I believe that tasha sees her music as a testimony and in the same way you wouldn't stop a sinner from testifying she didn't say no to Nicki. Even though I'm not 100% in line with her choice that's my thought.

People are getting uptight over this collab but hell is continually getting larger because we "believers" are being selective as to who we should share our ministry with. Jesus was always among the people that people would turn their noses up at. If we were perfect we wouldn't need a savior. What she did was open up a window for people who can encounter Christ who never has or who has found her music. She's one of the only ones that you can tell she is truly anointed and it comes thru her mysic. There are a lot of relationships being made in the industry that no one speaks of because it isn't being blasted thru your speakers over music or brought to you by an event. Ask yourself when was the last time you reached out to someone who never saw a church before or someone you knew openly lived a totally different life than you. Some of these "believers/christians" give other a bad name for the mentality that they have!

Therefore one could say her actions are not Christlike. Fruit in this context is synonymous with actions. So if Nicki is a Christain, which according to her actions, i personally don't believe she is, (but again i'm not God so i personally don't believe in saying whether somebody is saved or not) then Nicki would be confusing people. Think about it, twerking, semi nude photoshoots, etc, are not Christlike actions. This may lead to somebody young thinking the things Nicki Minaj does are ok to do, while you are saved. God isn't an author of confusion. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

The scripture, and the context following it are indicative that this relationship is by no means biblically supported. So again actually in a way we are Kingdom police. Not in the derogatory, condemning state in which you used that phrase but in the sense of ertain things we are able to speak on from scripture, and can speak against things that are not apart of God's kingdom. We can let people know what is Godly and what isn't so that part we can police in the right context. Brother lu is using the scripture, ultimately coming from God's Holy Spirit to do this.
