I have the Sam4s NR 500 regisiter and it has stopped printing. After watching your How To Videos none of these are my issue. The paper is thermal, in the correct way and I do not normally the the automatic receipt turned on, I only print receipts when customers request them. The receipt paper is not feeding through and it sounds like it is trying to print but only a dotted line prints across the width of the receipt roll.

@Sam4S Help I got a local guy to come and take a look for me and I just wanted to let you know the outcome. It ended up being a very small print of receipt paper stuck in the corner of the printer. This cause the little white wheel to stop turning causing all of my issues. We were certain that is was something more complex but luckly a quick and cheap fix. Thank you again for your assistance :)
For some reason when I turn off the receipt it still prints inside the register at the back if that makes sense how do I fix so it don't print at all

Sounds like that printer is in journal mode.
