I was so down in spirit tonight, I posted the short clip on my status and I wrote "I don't know the lyrics but it lifts my spirit".... Luckily a friend viewed it and sent me this link...... Glad I listened to it completely...... Listening from Nigeria 🇳🇬

Namadingo you are so amazing, it was so on point to think about doing such a collaboration with your grandpa. Grandpa is a super star at old age. There is a proverb in my local language "Asante twi" that says and i will quote
... "Abe bi rebewu a na eso" some palm trees are so useful when they get older.
Grandpa is and old wine in diamond glass, take very good care of him, the whole world cherish him... 🤝🏾 🤝🏾🤝🏾

Each time I listen to this song, and I do quite often, I can't express the spirit behind the song and the presentation. I aslo watched the video of when he was invited to the US. God bless the old man and the young men promoting him.

Even if you don't understand Chichewa, you can still understand what the song is about. Grandfather Gidde's mellowed voice and welcoming smile makes this song. Too bad so many Americans won't listen to non English music. Since I have traveled quite a bit, music like things brings me back. I regret not knowing of this Malawian and international treasure.
