- Thanks to Cibie01 for suggesting this angle, normally I would use a gopro for this, but the trouble with them is they have a very wide field of view so the tractor would seemed a long way away all the time. So I cable tied one of my tripods into the back of Johns pickup and used my main video camera.

LOL that red car, has open spots on side of road, but parks on the road.
Bugger I wanted to see the Legend drive over a car ,LOL
Great video , love watching you guys driving through sandy and surrounding areas.
Interesting - your roads and streets are very well-maintained and so many building are close to them. Thanks for the video.
What a beast that JCB, Love the power!!!
Thank you so much George for listening and doing this i am well chuffed.
i will admit i could not take one of these on the road like this so big respect to yourself and John it do's not look easy.
thanks again for doing this loved it...........loved it more if i was looking at the TW.......hint hint lol
Pure class great watching John reminds me of plenty good bosses keep up the great vids, Ryan from the Black Isle Scotland
Good video with a different perspective. Very impressive and imposing looking machine that JCB.
The roads are narrow, however, I like how the British seem to have more respect for trees and hedges and other nature than they do in this part of N. America where I am.
Brilliant video - Would like to meet Big John but maybe not coming at me in that thing
That looked awesome George.
My husband has got me watching you two now, I find it really interesting
you guys did a great job
Back in the day...
I was the Sparex rep for your area - the days of Bedfordia, AT Oliver etc.....
Very happy times in a lovely part of the world.......
Love this angle but I wish you backed into the field at the end so we couldve gotten a look at the destination.
Glad we dont have to deal with your narrow roads in Australia.
It is a beast on duals. I used to dig graves out Bedford way, tamworth nuneaton all the little villages aswell. Done alot of work for coop and devals
Thank you for the video
Again a great video!!
I imagine if you would go through hamburg with this duals :)))
I had to go through a side town of Brussel with a challenger tracked tractor.. not fun.
That looks good!
You should have put a camera inside the cab of the JCB
The 8250 is a beast with the duals on
Ya it really changes the look of the tractor compared to most tractors with duels on.
At first it seemed as though the tractor were towing something....!??!?
narrow roadway! here the secondary gravel roads are wider . Wide enough that a tractor with duals can meet another tractor with duals and sneak past with the main drive tires still on the traveled portion. altho generally you drive down the grass on the ditch tops. Means the outside dual is hanging in mid air
The stupidity of some people who ignore a pickup with flashing lights and sitting in the middle of the road warning you of a hazard is crazy and still continue going down the road like nothing is there and don't move over to allow you to get past annoys me when we move the combine and duels also
And that is one hell of a sight to see,.. they dont like it when they get rubber burns down the side of thier car,,and one hates to "i told you so" .
Great video. Ebem with escort vehicle l wonder would itb an idea to have yellow strobes as side markers on removable stalks to cover the width of the duals?
are those clamp on duals or axel/bolt on duals ? john deeres i use 4450 and 8400 and newer model they just got with front duals to replace 8300 all have bolt on duals
She's a beast!!
Super video :)
That's a major achievement.....you managed to make a D.P.D. Van stop.....😁
Brilliant 👍👍
Good video nice job
heck what a monster love it
did john manage to get that cyclist ! lol
It's no wonder it takes hours to get anywhere in England is that is what passes for roads.
Evenflo I don't know how many times I have watched ur video of the golden wonders and u robbing spuds but it's been the best video in a long time I have watched more and more since this covid 19 lockdown I have to Evenflo ur video can be brilliant make them longee
What part of the uk is this
Hi George cant be an easy job in and around Sandy with the idiots on the road today, I know I am a retired lorry driver I really do miss it.Pete.
the next time your drilling with the MONSTER tractor please get some photographs of it that is beautiful
its a beast with the duals lol
How wide is the JCB on duals, looks massive. And still good drivable.
Man That Thing Looks Scary!
looks like she could do with a bit of weight on the front george.the jcb sounds great
GEORGE , when you came to the "Ford day" at heddinton near devizes ,how long did it take you to get there, you must have done over 100 miles, about the same distance from birmingham to here,..
do you sell your hay and straw to a place in scotland
Just wow
hi george my name is curtis can you please tell me wear your farm is coz watching your videos of you driving your tractors makes me want to come and have a look at all your tractors and other farm machinery
nearly expecting this video to end up like one of those rude Postman Pat videos with a squashed car!!!!
that 8250 is a monster
Very nice George why did John stop at the start
Have you seen the jcb 8000 series George, looks quite the piece
Nice escorting work George, but even with that you still get some moron's driving straight at a duelled up beast!!!
great video!! where u from? i live in Cambridge and would i like see you to work
That is one seriously wide tractor. Are there any restrictions on the width you can go to?.
George loves them rubber gloves
This popped up on my timeline George, I wonder how the old legend is.
Are you excited for the JCB 8000 series?
nice work again ..could you not take duals down on flatbed?
And then mount them in the field without the big tools you’d have at home?
I've seen a couple jcb tractors over here in the US. Heck I've seen 1 fendt also. I'm wv also.they must be doing something right. I know there backhoes are awful. It seems that the low point here with them. I ran one for a couple of days and wasn't very impressed. A cat will mop the floor up with the jcb. Heck there getting better than Deere over here. But I would like to test that jcb builds for the military, I think that runs about 65 mph.but that is a very good looking tractor my friend.
WHY DO PEOPLE PARK IN THE ROAD IN YOUR COUNTRY,DO IT IN THE U.S.A.YOU GET TOWED.DOING A GREAT JOB KEEP IT UP..FROM THE CENTER OF CALIFORNIA,GOOD DAY.
Even here in Canada if an asshole try pull something like that, the car would be pulled into the ditch. Or if not pushed in by the 80yr old that refuses to wear their glasses.
4:50 why did you sort the mirror out when all he can see is a tire ?
wolfe1970 He can see over the tyres
wolfe1970 he's angled the mirrors so he can see the side of the dual therefore he can see how close he is to things
That seems crazy to me. Quite a few near-misses with cars. Makes you wonder if tractors of that size are suitable for those narrow roads.
Seán Ó Domhnaill quite a few near misses the cars were stop letting him by perfectly fine
Go pro have 3 fields of view avaible.
do you ever have to worry about getting permits to go down the roads. do the local police give you a hard time when you go through towns. I enjoy your videos. and how things are done over there. have a good day
Yes permits are required over I think 2.9m. The trouble is alot of farmers especially in East Anglia regard the PUBLIC roads to be nothing more than an extension of their farm tracks. The 'narrow' roads haven't alter - its the tractors getting bigger and bigger that's the problem. The damage they do to the verges and edges of roads has to be seen to be believed. All the cops do is turn a blind eye.
how fast can the jcb Go
43 mph
That car you passed at 4:19, was it illegally parked?
Wow you guys have narrow roads over there
what dose the zig zag,y white line,s mean
there is some at 10:30
Approaching a pedestrian crossing. It is an offence to stop a vehicle within the lines except when stopping for pedestrians using the crossing.
holy moly your roads are narrow over in Europe here in the USA that tractor would fit in a lane with the buals
caseih magnum you know what i wouldnt change it for the world
to each there own I would much rather not need to be escorted down the road on a tractor with dual every time we need to run on the road
caseih magnum yes you are right but england is a wonderful place when you are in the countryside its so beautiful
I can imagine for most it's because out country away from people and feel the freedom of nature
as long as it's not 3.5 hours driving and seeing the same darn bush then it stinks
everything in the US is bigger. and sometimes its unnecessarily bigger and sometimes it isnt. your pickup trucks (utility vehicles) are just impractically large for example.
be good to see you do a video on escorting be good to know why you have a escort car and what is required to escort a wide load
Evenflow I would love to meet up with you in person and ur friends and do live video would be good
u videoers need a magnetic/sucton camera mount
So Mr. Saunders, do you have a special permit to be on the road with this wide verhicle. ? That JCB mu8st have been so expensive that there was no money left to buy 2 orange warning lights ?
if you look it actually has a whole bar of amber lights on the roof
I agree the beacons are not flashing on the video at all, that is illegal. whether escort or not, also he pushes on and makes cars give way, i drive trucks with abnormal loads all the time if we behaved like that we would be in court, time vosa sorted this ridiculous situation. A wide vehicle is classed as an indivisible load or vehicle in other words cannot be made smaller. He could take the wheels off and should be made to do so. As for the speed well tractors cant go above a certain speed with implements behind especially wide ones. Not a legend an accident waiting to happen.
anthony thomas your bloody blind mate u can clearly see the beacons on.. Spec savers mate!!
its a good job there wasn,t a car the other side too, or it might have been a return to base job,...
George u´re very athletic
Blimey wouldn,t want to meet that coming the other way,...
The parking in the street seems very Annoying. Seems like a good way to get a car hit. It's nothing like that over here in the US.
4:15 I don't get how people are allowed to park in the middle of the roads like that
look where they parked the car ffs
Run boris's run
Will there come a time when tractors are too large for roads that were built for horses.
i love the Ford can you please do a slury video
No grill strobes on tha one,?? oh crap now you got a problem,..
You need an escort if it's wider than 3.5 meters, and must inform police if wider than 3 meters unless journey is less than 5 miles and not on roads with a speed limit of 40 or less.
ah, pushbike john, now,s your chance, annoying thing is they make such a clattering noise, when they get stuck between those back wheels,,
I Love Kirovet
What? xD That's a JCB.
That's not a beast I used to drive a Steiger Panther in north Wiltshire, she was 4 meters wide with her 8 wheels towing a set of simba discs and press and when folded for transport they were just over 4 meters wide and the whole set up was about 16 meters long
aren't you meant to have a police escort with something that dangerously wide on UK roads?
Blue light job or what,...
probably not feasible to do with that set up but miss the old commentary george .
I would of gone over it
Get sum front duals on monster tractor then
nice video , could have done without the wind noise
WTf that red car parked on the fucking road!!
There's 1 car that's in everyone of George's videos that is always parked on the roadway, strange but must be legal.
Edit: That's the one just not used to this view lol
Is that thing even road legal ??? I do not want to come across a such thing driving crazy speed towards me...
would it not be safer and easier to take the tractor and drill down there without the dual wheels then put them on in the field. it also means if some imbecile parks in the middle of the road you don't have to worry about getting past them
joseph jackson it can be tricky putting the duels on in a field. Uneven soft ground
yeah i know but going down the road with them on can be impossible if there is a imbecile that parks in a stupid place
takes time. and then you have to take a car or trailer down with the twins and then take them off and its just too much hassle
yeah
The equipment he's got on the back looks to be just about as wide with the duels on
Duck
2nd comment!!!
Lobster
always amazed how farmers get away with driving oversize loads on the road that anybody else would need permits for. how wide was that tractor with the twin wheels ? why didnt they get fitted in the field? would have made getting past the red car a lot easier. i also notice that you expect car drivers to slow and move over , yet you are the one causing the obstruction.
They would have a police movement license, and due to being over a certain width they need an escort. They're complying with the rules and regulations.
Not sure youve ever fitted Duel wheels before but its best done on concrete and not in a field! I don't want to get even more muddy fitting them.
Its common sense to move over for the bigger vehicle to allow it through! Plus dont know where he would back up too being that width its easier for the smaller cars to make way! 30 seconds of their time isn't the end of the world!
Nothing illegal is going on at all and very much following the book!
4th comment
I hate small roads
