I had my 1st child when I was 20 years old, and in my last year of college. I was going to nursing school and would graduate in 10 months. I brought my newborn to class with me in a snuggly on my chest. My professor would carry him while lecturing. It seemed the most natural thing. He started cooing and getting more vocal after a few months, at which time I had to take him to daycare. My parents were understandably concerned I would not graduate.
I retired from nursing 3 years ago after a 38 year career. I wouldn't change a thing. He has blessed me with 3 grandchildren.
It was God's will.

My daughter turned out great despite that I was told horrible things about how my child would turn out being raised by a single mom.I was encouraged to have an abortion. I am a senior citizen and am for family. My ex pushed for an abortion some 50 years prior, and as a young and stupid male I accepted her decision. To this day I regret my decision, and it still strongly bothers me. Later on we had one child, my son. She ran off with her girlfriend when my Son when he was 5, since then we both have never looked back. I became a confirmed bachelor for the next decade. Well God has a plan, ran into my present wife in College after retiring from the Navy, and we have been together for 30 years. We wanted a child between us, but it didn't happen, but we are a blended family.
I hear you; my ex did the same to me. 9 yrs ago my now ex-wife said she needed one because her knee hurt, I was totally against it, and she told me she would have it done whether I went with her or not. After she had the abortion, I had to leave for 30 days for the Army and when I came home things were still on edge and i had to walk on eggshells. The one night after IO had gotten well inebriated, I went home after I had told her I was going to be at my brothers and found her in bed with another guy, I beat him up pretty bad punched him until his face felt like I was hitting a sponge. Both events caused me to start to spiral out of control, especially with PTSD, but I came out all right. I retired after 27 years in the Army in 2022 and I thank God for the 3 children I have from before I was married, because they kept me grounded, but to this day June is a hard month for me especially the 18th. It's not something that is easy to get over or ever will. So, to all those who think it's just about the women, it's not because those babies have a father too and those people should keep their mouths shut.
It's a curse to have an abortion.
You'll carry that luggage for the rest of your life.
And if you have a child later in life then it's just another reminder of what you did or let happen.
And that will haunt you.

I just cant imagine my life without him in it. And he is 38 yrs old now. And im only 56 so we've had a few yrs where we could be friends also. Despite the pressure from her boyfriend, my Wife kept her Daughter. After that He never had any relationship with my Daughter. Still uncertain how to go about being a Father, I got married and adopted my Daughter when she was 5.In order to have the same last name as us my daughter's name was legally changed. I basically copied Bill Cosby because I thought that would be a model Father figure. So I told my Daughter at any time she could see her Biological Father. Her Biological Father had 20 years to have a relationship with his daughter. Then her die and his family sold the estate my Daughter was able to receive a portion of the inheritance, she also has a half sister. It was sad there was never closure for my Daughter, she wanted her Father to apologize but nothing happened. My Daughter has 2 Master's degrees, a very prosperous Consulting Business. Her Husband is State Senator, I have 3 grandchildren. This year my Daughter is taking me and my wife to Okinawa and Japan.
