For me, this song is like two musical galaxies colliding. It started in 2000 when I picked up two Chicane albums at some random music store on a vacation in Seattle. Listened non-stop. Fast forward to 2005, I picked up the Sigur Ros album. Listened non-stop. Now on a bad day near the end of 2013 this song comes up on Pandora for the first time and I have a braingasm and suddenly everything is gonna be alright. On to 2014!

The thing I love about trance music is doesnt need lyrics to make you feel something and to think that electronic music could be so emotional is something amazing.

I think that may come from the original song which is incredible. So they stole it and turned it into this. My version was better but I am not cynical enough to make money off it as are 99% of people that have a little respect. Dont get me wrong, I like that they are using the song but this is the worst yet. Its like Scooter does Sigur Ros.

I remember hearing this in a shopping centre just after I had bought Red Dead Redemption in 2010 and was reading the back of it, it’s always made me think of that game whenever I hear it, I’m now just about to play Red Dead Redemption II and thought I’d listen to this song again 🤣🤣

to the haters: the original song was very somber and quiet when it comes to mood... this song was almost completely remade into a cheerymakes-you-wanna-break-into-a-dance mood. both are masterpieces... different takes on them thats all.

The original song was very emotional, and trance is pure emotion, then this is a burst of good emotions

Seriously, everyone just needs to chill. Yes, it's a remix of a good song, but equally it is a GOOD remix of a good song; it's kickass. Growing up on the streets of 21st century britain, people can't afford to discriminate against other music styles than what they like. We should all appreciate everything, and that'll help us all appreciate eachother. And when we appreciate eachother, we can finally bring the system down that put us at the bottom of the lifeladder. Tunes like this have meaning.

I remember hearing this track ages ago and wondering what it was when it got stuck in my head over and over. Armin's Mixes have been the only thing that kept my sanity for nearly a decade as I endured massive hardship with my brother and the abused friends I would rehabilitate despite earning less than half of poverty level income working full time.
Such great music... such great inspiration for a tortured mind. It gives more hope and uplifting grace than therapy ever could.
Someone born in the late 80s or 90s can't really comprehend the quality of Chicane or this track. If you have lived through the entire growth of trance from day one then you will truly appreciate it.

I've said before,i love my indie and rock,but these blokes no what they are doing. I love chicane. Any one that's into their bands allway's has a soft spot for these. They cross that dance/band divide, AWSOME! Got a few of their albums. Quality. They've got that respect amongst people into thieir live bands. I would love to see these blokes do a set.
Obviously this remix won't ever be as good as the original but it's absolutley fantastic in its own right. I love chicane and I love Sigur Rós! and this just amazing!
