Hi, bariatric surgery patient here. What Wings said about them hammering "protein" into your brain when you get the surgery is 100% correct. I too would have a premier protein drink in the mornings and sometimes a Wendy's chili for lunch/dinner - the same one split into two meals, not two separate ones as there was no way I could hold that much in my stomach at the time. You should also eat a lot of chicken breast and such. His problem is not the weight, but what got him to be that weight. What emotional issues do you have to eat to that level? Before I got the surgery, I worked on myself and what got me to eat and that's allowed me to be successful because I've never fallen back on those old horrible eating habits. It's almost 2 years after my surgery now. I was 540 pounds at my peak and I am 275 pounds today and still losing. I have no doubt that if I didn't work on my emotional issues beforehand, I would have failed the surgery too like he did.

True that, I can't think of a single purely blog focused platform or website that is remotely interesting. Thank you for updating people about this streamer, i joined a couple of his streams recently and i can truly say the way he runs his stream and puts out content is some of the most low effort content and stream i’ve seen, yet he expects people to donate to him and for people to care, he absolutely does not care abt his audience and he’s always banning people for saying dumb stuff or criticizing it instead of just playing along with it, if i had an average of 200 views (he could have more but he’s banned prolly more than half his audience) per stream i would be grateful for it, but this man just can’t see that.

I was one of the people who actually tried to give him advice during that CWW call. My account also got banned even though i did barely post in there, which is a shame as i had that account for a long time. I dont feel bad about losing it since i turned my life around and watch a lot less troll content. I still want Wings to turn his life around and i genuinely want him to succeed as he has the talent to do so.

Even if whats happening is miserable or self-destructive, its familiar, and familiarity breads a strange sort of appeal and comfort thats hard to get away from. It breeds learned helplessness and a sense of inevitability. Until he tackles that in some way and realizes it, nothing will change, because deep down he doesnt want it to.
For the trolls: its a fascinating mix of mentalities here, like those seen in a cult or a unique cultURE as a while with unique rules, guidelines, etiquitte, self-policing, etc. Individually its a mix of delusion (ex. People who insist that they have a special claim or relationship to individuals they develop a parasocial relationship with) and a sense of entitlement to his attention, improvement, and even failures. Its extremely fascinating but disgusting to see directed towards another person. Prime for a study someday in my opinion.
