This was recorded 5 years ago. Dan is even more awesome now. His One Man Choir…Handel’s Hallelujah is unbelievable. He sings all 4 parts in 24 voices. His artistry and voice are incredible.
Freddie did all of the harmonies in the accapella opening sequence of the song by himself, on tape! In 1975! Without computers or auto tune. Sorry but I couldn’t make it past the first thirty seconds.

I have only been aware of Dan Vasc:'s existence since April when I saw Amazing Grace which was an earth-shattering experience and I was hooked. Never liked Metal before but loving it now thanks to him. No matter what he tackles, it is so precisely perfect and fills me with even more awe. No matter what Dan Vasc sings, it's a masterpiece. Love everything he has done in the five years I have been watching his videos. No matter the genre, it's perfection. I do love the ballads he does especially as a change of pace. As he credits the band Journey or his love of music I would recommend their rock ballads "Faithfully" - JOURNEY cover /"Open Arms" Cover - JOURNEY. My favorite is Open Arms but I think his cover of "Faithfully" is beautiful. And, I hate most people that cover Steve Perry songs. But Dan did justice to the song without trying to be Steve Perry.

Excellent reaction, Sebs! After reading the other comments, I think people are so used to mediocre music that they don't know how to appreciate real art and passion. This cover made me go back to the original, which, for some reason, I didn't really like. Now, I love it and have a new appreciation for Queen. I think Freddie would be pleased with this cover. That was literally decades ago when I thought that, back when I was literally just a dumb kid. I'm glad to say that my ears grew up and have acquired much better taste in music.
Admiration, envy, even hero worship, overwhelmed every time I listen to this man and see again how talented he is. It knocks my socks off. I would say this is my favorite video of his but that would be lying. They all are. But this is up there at the top. So complex. His range, that versatile vocal ability. Incredible. Thanks Seb. You sound like one of the Rippaverse reply guys. Dan is the real deal! He's had ten years of singing lessons, and he kills everything he sings, brings it back to life, and kills it again! Because of him, I'm into so much great new music, have new friends all over the world, and am even learning Brazilian Portuguese. It's fine if you don't like the song; music is subjective, after all. What got me is you accusing him of auto tune. Dan sometimes sings on random livestreams, usually just a line or two, but on one, he did a great version of What A Difference You've Made In My Life totally randomly and with no music, and it's one of my favorite things I've heard from him. 1⃣9⃣9⃣ 🐍🐍🐍🤘🤘🤘

He's not trying to be Freddie. He's Dan Vasc.
Dan does not try to "be" any other artist when he's covering songs. He does treat the original music with respect but most definitely puts his own and very individual spin on his work!

Freddie was the greatest and will live on in his amazing body of work. That being said, I hope you enjoyed Dan Vasc singing all the harmonies himself. He recorded and edited it himself also. I have no idea how he did that. He's just immensely talented. I hope you'll check out all the different genres of music he performs and subscribe to his channel. I think you'll truly enjoy who I believe is currently the best vocalist on the planet. (I said currently!😊) P. S. I didn't know he existed until June. He's a vocal beast, and I'm hooked. Yes! Also there's "Nessun Dorma," plus the Phantom of the Opera songs that are so GORGEOUSLY sung...just WOW!!! BTW, none of those should be considered "covers," for the people who seem to be so up in arms about those. People sing songs all the time, from other composers (some of those singers actually read music...who knew?! If nobody ever did, there wouldn't be any composers still making music, except for themselves!

When Dan sings hallelujah from handels messiah he sings all voices: baritone, tenor, alto, and soprano. It’s absolutely phenomenal how many octaves he can sing. You see 24 little Dans on the screen. He said it was his insanity piece because it took over 270 takes to create it. Hail VascNation ❤

Hey Dude, You really need to check out the Pentatonix cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. In general i think you need to get to know the a Capella bands that are around at the moment. I am in my 60's
and i can honestly say there has never been A Capella groups like Pentatonix, Home Free etc. They are fricken awesome

Ok, there seems to be an editing issue. This is the second Dan reaction video of yours that I have seen. Your audio is correct, but the Dan audio does not match the video. It almost ruins your whole video. Please look into that.

No, it's not. It's Dan, and before Dan's version, I didn't really like or appreciate this song. Now, I love and appreciate both versions.
Similar to Adam Lambert he's got a great voice, but...he isn't doing anything someone else didn't do first. He's not playing any instruments. He's not performing any original composition. He's just singing a song someone else launched into history. Freddie's still the GOAT.

¨The voice IS an instrument, as difficult to master as others. We only see what is relaunched in CZcams, not all he does in life or profesionally. Sure thing is that he does not sing like that without training, experience and musical knowledge. Also, he would not have guests to sing with him if they didn’t respect him. And yes Freddie is unique, and I bet he will be happy to listen such wonderful covers of his music.

Freddie Mercury ≠ Autotune. The autotune on this cover is terrible.
Dan doesn't autotune anything....he sings the song three times to get it right, nor does he lip sync. As I've posted already, Freddie was a great vocalist among thousands of great vocalists worldwide and past, present and future.

The video got a touch out of sync after it was paused and stuff. Dan truly sings his songs, as you'll discover for yourself once you jump down into the rabbit hole where he hides over 200 of his songs. I can honestly declare that about 199 of them are my favorite. (It would be 214, but I'm not a huge fan of straight up constant heavy metal in a song)
