Not sure why everyone is hating this video, firstly we should be pleased to be getting free help of this kind, & secondly I could follow it perfectly fine, I think she explained it very well and DID show by using the 4 colors the most important parts we need to know, I’m in my 40s, I’ve never done braiding of any type, so if I can ‘get it’ in under 2 mins i can’t see why anyone else is having issues. Thank you so much for the free good help 👍😘😘

VioletSkye19: Doesn't matter your age, whether you are 40 yo or 100 yo, or if you are Donald Trump, or if you got it done in 30 seconds; this kind of work needs to be explicit visually, especially to the first time doer. This is the kind of skill you need to have clearly explained, and if not, I can understand the frustration. The lady might have explained it perfect to you, but the average watcher got confused and irritated. How about simply trying to record the same work, but with the camera further up? as simple as that. I simply went to another video and got it understood.

It is very simple, the camera should be aiming at the work from the top, perpendicular to the work in process. From a side, especially with the hands partially covering some of the steps is very confusing to the eyes, trying to follow the movements. The end result is perfect and the hands are nice looking, but I kind of ''lost the thread'' too because of the angle from which the camera was aiming.

Make your braid a little longer than you need it to be. Then, when you're done, tightly wrap a piece of tape around the end while you hold it together. The tape should be right above where the braiding stops, so that it has a nice round, braided piece within the taped part. Then, use a pair of flush cutters to cut across the taped part, leaving enough tape to hold the ends together, but a short enough piece that the tape will be hidden by the cord end.

Gorgeous braid. Meant only as a rid-bit of constructive criticism, I will convey that describing as an move UNDER the middle two strands with subsequent move OVER between them would more correctly describe this movement. Also, in explaining the importance of bring each piece into place, the wording might be best understood by describing it as keeping it FLUSH. Again, a beautiful braid and one I am anxious to try. Thank you!!
