FOSSIL DUNES I AL WATHBA ABU DHABI 2020

Al Wathba fossil dunes are formations of wind-swept sand, permeated with calcium carbonate and hence hardened to form distinct, varied and abstract natural desert sculptures.
The area, close to Al Wathba Wetland Reserve, offers visitors the chance to view nature the artist at work. Visiting the site is completely free but all visitors are asked to be responsible and not cause any damage or leave litter on the site. it is equally a place to camp and explore the rest of the surrounding desert environment.
