I don't remember everything that went into it but I do remember molasses and vanilla extract. Pretty certain I always nibbled that bait ball more than the fish did lol.

How many rods have been lost by people leaving the anti reverse on? Anti reverse off, loosen the drag, or even better use a bait runner when there is the possibility of a big un. Great tip for hooking the cheese ta.
Thanks mate. I never have my anti reverse on until I hook a fish. When cod fishing you need to have a tight drag because if there's no resistance the hook won't pull into the fishes mouth when they strike the bait. All they will do is pull drag and then drop the hook. Same with lure fishing. I always have my drag locked right on my bait casters when I'm cod fishing for the same reason.

Hi mate, I'm not sure on the technicality. Everybody calls these shrimp, although technically speaking I think they may be a prawn. They're scientific name is Macrobrachium Australianese, but whether they're a prawn or a shirmp depends on which part of the country you come from.
That's nuts! I had a surf rod go from 0-100 in 0.1 of a second off the Newhaven pier into the water one time. Luckily the line snapped and the rod floated up and we used another rod to retrieve it! Thanks for your videos Robbie and here's to a great 2024!

You have to get a rod holder that holds the rod butt secure, get 2 singles and you can move your rods apart. Then you will have a situation where the rod butt is safe, and the Rob butt is dry!
