This is a beautiful vlog, Jennifer, so well filmed, and interesting, for once it makes me feel good about this country, the music is lovely and helps create the atmosphere. You are very brave living like this. Travel definitely broadens the mind. I have also done a lot of travelling in Germany and love the country. You have got another fan. You seem to have the ability to make places we take for granted look so interesting. Take care.😁😁😁👐👐👐
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback, it means a lot to me. ❤️ And I know well what you mean. I have grown up in Aachen, a beautiful historic city but only saw the beauty of it after I have moved away. Many greetings from Dorset
Thank you for your posting. It takes me back so many years ago when my parents took me to Hastings for the annual holiday. Am now 83 years old and live in Peru. Many thanks for bringing back so many memories of all those years ago.
David, this makes me so happy. Thank you for telling me. I have been a teacher and loved getting students excited about things I loved. It means a lot to me that now, it seems, I can do the same with places I love through video... Many greetings to Peru. ❤️
Thank you Jennifer for taking me back to Hastings for a virtual visit. I stayed there with a friend (German actually!) in 1997 and enjoyed the historic feel and atmosphere of a very characterful town. Your views of the beach and pier were really beautiful. May you continue to encounter friendly people on your travels and be well and happy seeing the world. I admire your courage.
Thank you, Pauline, I really enjoyed Hastings and am planning to stay there again on my way back for it was so lovely. It always makes me happy to read that I can bring back beloved memories with my videos. Have a great day, Pauline. 😀
Yes, it was so lovely... Jeff, I think you will really like the latest video on me exploring Corfe castle village and the one I am going to release tomorrow for there are interesting pieces of history involved... So happy to see you are taking your time outs and join me 😀
tnx for sharing, nice video too. Remember the streets in the old town from back in my youth, -86, the language school i joined was located in that part of Hastings. I,ve got plans to go back and travel along all the coast of England soon. So beautiful scenery😍
The 80s were my time of youth as well. I was at a language school in Bournemouth, then. Thx for coming along. And have a beautiful trip when you will finally be going...
Oh wow... South Africa. I was housesitting for a gorgeous couple from South Africa in the South of France, recently. Thanks a lot, Brian, so happy that you enjoy my videos and are coming along. Have a wonderful weekend
Looks like a really great travelling experience, I live in Weymouth and it is refreshing to find a Vlog of the British seaside that doesn’t just concern itself with the bad things.
Hi Dave, thank you so much for watching and commenting. I am so overwhelmed by the beauty of the British seaside, so far. I would not know any bad things to say. Obviously, there is always good and bad in everything but I personally make the choice to focus on the good for I only have this one life to live to the fullest. Many greetings to you from beautiful Somerset, where I am doing another housesit. 😀
Hi I just came across this video by chance and I enjoyed it so much! I've never been to Hastings but it looks really nice, you took some great footage of it. I have subscribed and will now have to watch your other videos. I love your hat by the way!
Oh, thank you, I am so happy that you like the video (and my hat 😀) . This lifestyle as well as doing CZcams actively is still new to me and I am really amazed at the warmhearted responses you guys are giving to me. Have a wonderful weekend.
At 12:48, there is a brief view of an improbable 13 century French Gothic-style Cathedral. It’s a Victorian build by the premier non-Royal Duke of Norfolk - a Catholic family who live in the neighbouring Arundel Castle. Both well worth a visit.
Hastings ist wunderschön, danke für die tollen Bilder. Das Buchcafe war klasse. Was mir schwerfällt, hineinzugehen und zu filmen. Das bist du mutiger. Liebe Grüße Nicole
Hi Jenny, I love this latest video. You do get about quickly. I live in a quiet village between Salisbury (Wiltshire) and Winchester (the old capital of England). I suffer with ME/CFS so spend a lot of time resting. The condition is fairly unpredictable as to when my energies will crash; its mainly "boom and bust" Would you believe I actually look after dogs with this condition....mad aren't I? Other times I design fused glass objects. I don't watch tv, I prefer to read or watch documentaries and youtube. There...just thought I would introduce myself. I hope this finds you well x
Oh Anya, I am feeling very honored that you are telling me about yourself... Even though I do not have the same illness, I do know about the sudden loss of energy. I am happy to hear that you found a passion with art. In fact, it makes me happy that in times of low energy periods, I can lay on a couch (or in my campervan) and still feel productive by editing these videos...Do you happen to be on Instagram? Lots of love from Dorset to you
@@jenniferk6632 Hello; I had a feeling you would understand about the energy compromise as you're recovering from long covid. Is your condition improved by being away from home? I have a friend with long covid and he just moseys on through....he's in his 90's!! I expect being on the coast is a good tonic to your health. I often smile and laugh at your expressions. Anyhow....I hope you've something good planned for today. X
😀 Nice to read from you, again. I was just enchanted by beautiful Corfe village and am now driving to Swanage... I do not have long Covid, though but Covid triggered a chronic lung disease plus, due to an autoimmune illness, my lungs were already effected. I hope, your friend will recover completely. Wish him well for me. Lots of love to you...

How comes that you know so much about history? Just a personal interest or work related, I wonder? 🙂 Thank you, again... Will keep it in mind

Ja, das ist nicht einfach, aber wenn ich mit den Menschen ins Gespräch komme, reagieren sie oft positiv und bieten manchmal sogar an zu filmen...
