Also, at 8 seconds it sounds like the owner says 'I punctured his ear', pretty sure she meant Indiana did! But I know y'all could figure that out! 😅
@@ItsMeortheDog I hope there a cross over
Jo Frost would of been a big help for you in that episode Victoria.
Yes!!!!
I like this mother. She actually listens to what Vicotria tells her and understands why she's there.
Its refreshing when owners listen lol it's often not the dog with the problem 🤣

True. However, she should have remedied this sitiuation BEFORE it was necessary to bring in outside help.

Maybe the stress was confusing her and she couldn’t think? She still should have tried to fix the problem before getting help

Six year old - "I'll try"
Haha So much energy in the little guy
Jelly
Steve Thea what.
Steve Thea I second Xx Moonlight Studios xX’s “what?”
Rose Puppy are you trying to correct me?
Xx Moonlight Studios xX no. I just meant that I also thought “what” in response to Steve Thea’s comment. That’s all. “Jelly” just seems random.
I love that kids response "i'll try 🙄" like he's never walked somewhere before 🤣
I think this is the nicest family I’ve seen on this show, they are so appreciative of her and the things she’s helping them with and I love the energy
More over, they understands that they have a problem that they can't solve on their own and they decide to ask for help totally open to recieve feedback and act acordingly. They really wanted Indi became a part of the family. And that is prizeless. In other cases, Victoria wanted that goal due to the relationship was broken between owner and dog. In this case, it was the other way around. Victoria only had to give them the tools and they pull it off.
“Victoria is lovely.”
Yes. Yes, she is. 😊🐶
That's exactly what i thought.
The kid gets it. 🧡
Thats EXACTLY what I said😂😱
My heart broke into a million pieces for that family. So sweet, caring, the kids are just adorable. What a gentle soul for a hyper kid ❤️❤️

So she basically just trained the kid and not the dog
Any dog trainer will tell you their job is essentially training the owners, not the dogs.
fountainPoison exactly, you have to train the owners so they know what they should do to stop the dogs behaviour but it’s really the owners behaviour
Its not the dog, its the kid so..yhh
Good dog trainers will actually train the owner and not the dog.
Moo that’s most of her shows she corrects the humans not the dog cause the humans are the dummy’s 😂
I love how the little kid said “ I’ll try” when she asked him to walk and how he said “ he LoOkiN’ at me” when she said “ now what’s he doing”
The youngest is so adorable!!!
Can we appreciate the way Victoria talked to Shane there? My fav part is "Im going to ask something hard of you... but you're six so Im sure you can do it!" - thats like including a child in the work, making them involved, making them feel they can do something difficult and reinforcing that. So nice!!
Asked to walk slowly, Shane replied “I’ll TRY” in a cute sassy way hahaha
she's really good with kids, like better than some teachers.
Im gonna remember how she talked to that kid for future times xD.

Victoria is actually spot on with teaching the little boy. She is firm but kind, validate and praise him as well as show him how things should be done.
Lmao her manner is exactly the same when she train dogs and that cute kid
Ah, this is such a good family and it was so nice to see. The way that they showed so much appreciation for Victoria's help and how they followed the advice and instructions the gave! Let's also appreciate how awesome Victoria was with the kids, such an amazing episode really!
She is absolutely phenomenal with that young man. Easy to understand but mentally stimulating questions, never spoke down to him, showing him the cause to effect of his behavior with Indy. I'm blown away. She's just the perfect teacher. Even turned the experience into a game. Made it fun. She is perfection.
She is an expert dog trainer for a good reason.
From training dogs to training children as well
Victoria is a great teacher!
hannah banana along with dog training you have to know how to talk to the humans
Lmao I have your pfp as my wallpaper for my pc
Once you understand how a dog is trained, it’s hard not to know how a child is trained.
I SWEAR TO GOD THIS WOMAN COMMANDS RESPECT EVEN IN HYPERACTIVE CHILDREN
She needs to do this with my fam-.-
I think it's her tone of voice and the attention she gives..attention goes a long way with kids and animals
There isn't much difference between children and dogs.
You train your kids the same way you train your dog.
Actually little children, at this point in their lives, are mentally quite similar to dogs. That's why many methods of training obedience that work with dogs, can help you to keep them in check. That's why I find it so ridiculous when people spoil their dogs because they are their babies to them. Well...if you let your small child do whatever they want, they also will become brats, so why should it be different with dogs? :')

Okay people, how about instead of trying to blame somebody, we recognize how lovely this family is, and how sweet the children are.
Hazel Jade my favorite part was when his brother was like “Shane will be Shane” 😂
Children are not sweet 🤣
Sorry no but bad behavior should not be sugar coated
@@LibraryAmbientJunkie I don't blame the kids in this situation, the second the parents got the dog they should've sat the kids down and told them that yeah we have a dog now but this is how you play with the dog and this is how you don't play with the dog, and the correct and teach each time they played and never leaving the dog and kid alone without a supervision - Victoria did what the parents should've done from the beginning.

The kids were sweet to Victoria and I love them.
Super important that kids learn all the dos and don'ts of interacting with animals. That's part of the responsibility of having a dog; knowing how to avoid riling them up.
The family is so kind and appreciative. They're the only ones I saw so far that didn't complain or kind of argued with Victoria with everything she's saying. I love them!💖
These are the only people I’ve seen give Victoria gifts and show true appreciation without getting defensive at first. Really great people!

Nice to see a family on this series that isn’t as toxic as Chernobyl for once, kudos to them
They seem like such a lovely family
Ikr, and as far as I saw other episodes, these family were very calm, positive, well response and this went so smooth and easy for Victoria to train.as the family was so co operative.
This episode is so cute. Teaching kids how to handle dogs is so important.
That is nice. The show never focus on teaching the kids, that is too bad because it was awesome.
I can understand why the family got a more active dog now but the biting and not teaching kids how to act around dogs is a big no-no.
I was looking for a comment like this. The kid didn’t seem to understand that the dog just wanted to play. For sure the dog wasn’t super well behaved but the dog was semi- well mannered
It was lovely to see Victoria teach the family and to teach the color to coincide with actions. It could be useful in several situations.

What a beautiful lovely family to work with❤️ those boys have such good manners for Victoria. Hearing that little boy says she’s lovely was just adorable, and he gave her the flowers 💐 ❤️ Loved this
I love how the mom is 100% responsible, she's one of the best moms!
If she's responsible then she would sell the dog when it's DRAGGING her kid around the house!!😬
Honestly that's a bad idea.
Yah I don't think it responsible to own a dog or any animals you don't have control over if your a mum and you have a dog that's biting and dragging your children around what in your right mind makes you think that's what a *great mum* would do🙄🤷♀️
@@mascara.user4ever i guess she's more clueless than irresponsible.
@@mascara.user4ever No? the dog is not a toy. If you give him away as soon as he's not acting perfectly like you wanted him to you're being irresponsible. It's a dogs instinct to chase things that are running away from them, just train them and the people around them and it can be done.
The kid said it:
"Victoria is lovely."
he said it, not me.
Well, I said it too :)
that was probably read off a script
I'm pretty sure he's being honest
The little guy is so adorable and so smart. Him saying Victoria is lovely was just precious. This family is so beautiful. God Bless em
This one left me with such a wide smile on my face. What a lovely family.
The youngest little boy is so cute! He’s just guilty of having a crap ton of energy and indie is just a puppy who also has a crap ton of energy. They are like spirit animals. Once the biting is under control I think they will have the best relationship.
It literally is Play bites. If the dog bit the child he would have huge wounds to the bone and huge scars to show to his friends.
Love andGrowth He’s still a little kid, and obviously doesn’t like any types of bite. It doesn’t matter what types, he was being dragged, he’s a kid not another puppy. He’s scared.
@@ratnest636 not anymore, problem has been fixed and it was also partially his fault for being so high energy around the dog but hes a child what else is he gonna do, atleast the mum got help as soon
"Victoria is LOVELY". LOL. He's adorbs. The oldest is a sweetie too. Watching him play with Indie and the flying fox had me smiling.
I have a dog when we got her she was afraid of my dad and my older brother I loved her even tho I knew she did not think the same but I was wrongs she loves me a lot very protective but has a soft side and a funny side 😂 ❤️
Love how the kid strikes a pose when hits that red light. I hope it becomes one of those weird adult quirks that never goes away from being a kid and does that when he's driving.
BASS!!!
I just wanna walk into the middle of a main road and yell redlight now...
It's probably because he associates with the game. You play it with kids and the 'red' everyone stops running or walking in a dramatic pose. Kind of like Musical Statues.

Letty Lunasical yeah lmao as a kid it was basically part of the game to stop in a super ridiculous pose. It’s the only proper way to play red light green light
I love the way Victoria was patient with the kids while also making sure they understood how serious the situation is.
Victoria gets flowers, that is so nice of this family! There's a great vibe. I was not so sure before she came to fix the situation, but the boys are sp great eith their dog, it's a pleasure to see them interacting and playing, and how they respect it!
Mom: calls Victoria to train the dog...
Victoria: trains the kid instead.
It's very important to train the owners so they can know what to do when she leaves, when she is away, that's why she trains the kids so they know what to do.
My thoughts exactly. Shouldn't the parents have taught the kids how to behave around the dog

@@ash_lee_12 No totally agree. I'm just trying to say that not all biting is aggressive. The dog just thinks they are playing, but doesn't realize he is causing harm.
This warmed my heart, and these are the reasons why:
1. The parents knew that Indiana wasnt a bad dog, it was the kids riling him up.
2. Victoria took the time to help the kids understand what was 'Wrong'.
3. The family continued to use the things Victoria gave to them / tips.
4. Victoria kept her calm with it and didnt get way too stressed out. (Working with the children)

I bet that each time blood is pulled he fully blames the dog and will lie about his own actions that caused it (knowing that the parent didn't see what he himself did). This video was just wholesome!!! 🤗😍🤗😍, everything from family, Victoria and the kids! Great job 👪
I'm not surprised Victoria is very good with kids ... she's a dog trainer. The methods of educating a four-year-old and training a dog are very similar.
That may sound weird, but if you think about it, it's true. You teach them boundaries, reinforce good/desirable behaviour, and gently correct mistakes or behaviour that will get them into trouble.
The methods of communication differ, of course, but the system is nearly the same.
Dogs are a lot like little kids: cute, playful, sometimes naughty ... and they understand way more than we give them credit for, hehe.
Did you mean 4 year olds or 40 year olds? Same methods apply with both 😂
I ALWAYS SAID THE SAMEEEE, that dogs are like children, and i said it as a future "kindergarten" teacher 😂😂
Very much
Lots of animals are actually like this. And lots of veterans in any field say the same thing. Birds are just toddlers. Dog are kids. Kids are dog. Cat are babies.
I generally agree but we don't use punishments anymore
You look for the unmet need that is causing the behaviour and don't rile them up or reinforce behaviours you don't want
Kids need more freedom and communication and you don't want a kid to be a well behaved dog so some things are different
But it's generally very similar
Well, at least they don't choke him and make him faint...

I work with animals. The amount of times I have had people ask “ is this breed good with kids “ amazes me. It’s not if the breed is good with your kid- it’s if your KID is good with the breed/ dog. Train your kids 😂 period. I have firsthand seen a golden retriever ( labeled friendliest dog with kids ) nip a child because it was tugging on her ears and tail. Now I socialize and desensitize my huskies- but ANY and every dog can and will bite when pushed to its limits.
Kids need to be taught at least some baaic warning sogns that dogs give out. And not to play with their ears, tail or whiskers, because dogs are not toys.
this dog looks exactly like my puppy , do you know what breed it is ?
Shay Rose true but i also ive found bernese mountain dogs are incredibly kid friendly, my dog is a bernese and tolerates very annoying hyperactive kids
Yess! I own pitbull, chihuahuas and shepard. One time my kid try to pull germans tail and I lectured his ear off! He now just pet his tail (fluff lover 🤭🤷🏻♀️) but never did any movements toward dog. I rewarded him also 🤷🏻♀️ like I do with dogs...
Shay Rose 100% agree with you. I work with dogs, too, and I currently have 8 of my own, various breeds, ranging from a Doberman to a Chihuahua, and all of them absolutely adore children. This is because I don't allow kids to be rough with them, and if a child asks to pet them I always say yes, then show them how to do it nicely. ("Of course you may, he'd love that! He especially likes it when you do this...") I train them all to accept being grabbed/touched everywhere, just in case, but they shouldn't have to put up with constant mauling. I always tell people the same as you - all dogs are good with kids, as long as your kids are good with dogs!
5:25 the dad was cheesing 😂😂 he loved watching victoria and shane interact
That dog and that kid are two and the same soul! Ahaha! And omg seeing Victoria train this kid, but in his language and in a fun way was awesome! Oh my I enjoyed this episode so much!
I'm surprised Shane is still willing to go near the dog
Not really. It's clear that they have a bond as playmates whose energies happened to be on the same frequency. As kids, they're also more likely to forget the mistakes/bad stuff and continue playing as if nothing happened. He just needed to be taught how to play is all.
And add on the kid probably knowing the bitting's him playing cuz the way he's acting he's not barking at them aggressively or growling or the kid could just think that's normal play with a dog
The kid has no reason to be scared of the dog. The kid needs some serious training.

Such nice family, I supposed they were just a little lost with their dog and didn't knew what to do. Im glad Victoria has came in and taught them how to train their dog to curb his behaviour problems. I love how kids were playing with the dog and how they engaged with Indie while training him, it was a sweet sight indeed!
The dog hasn't got behaviour problems its the kids messing about which makes the dog want to play if he does it more it might lead to the dog not being playful anymore he will be seriously injured so I say it's the humans fault for causing the dog to have a big case of hyper behaviour
Great observation! As a trainer, I try to help people understand why their dogs do certain things so they can best address those issues. Dogs don't automatically know how to behave in our world, and dogs like Indiana, with SO much energy, especially need help channeling that energy in productive ways. I agree - getting the kids involved in his training helped in mending their relationship with him, and taught everyone valuable lessons.

But the kid treats the dog like crap
@Molly McConnell so its like:
im a kid and im “delicate” so im gonna annoy the sh* t out of my dog and get it to feel unconfortable every single second of its existance
Trust me on this one my sister has a dog and she treats her like a god but some dogs have different personalities than others u might have the happy and cute doggo or have an unconfortable sad-looking dog just like my sister
But what i wanted to say was that u should treat your pet just like you would treat your friend but better, not treat it like its a toy cuz we're “superior” and in some cases we look like the “dumbest ” animals
when they gave her flowers my heart melted
