@dayoldeggplant Thanks for your comment! This video is available under CZcams's Creative Commons license, which allows for reuse and sharing. I re-uploaded it to share Magnus's amazing game with a wider audience.
@@Chess_and_Coffee I appreciate the response, but I am confused. It's been uploaded before on his OfferSpill channel, which I believe was removed some time ago....hence the reason I assumed it was stolen because it is unavailable everywhere except for channels that took that stream. I could be wrong
@458scuderia Yes, such time control is known as 'handicap time' in chess. Time handicaps are most often practiced in blitz games. The weaker player receives more minutes than the stronger player, which is a better way to favor lower-rated players. In this game, Bortnyk started with 1:30, while Magnus had 3:00, even though Magnus is the stronger player.
Bortnyk berserked, which gives him more tournament points if he wins, but less playing time. However, Magnus decided not to do this. Each player can decide this at the beginning of the game.
Yes, men in the background.
Probably the best game I've seen from a Magnus opponent.
Well Bortnyk is a really strong Chess player/GM and extremely strong at bullet and blitz!
why this video not famous ???
Because it's stolen content.
@@dayoldeggplant from where ?
