- Teachers have a huge impact on our young people. But they're not the only ones.
Ali is a Teaching Assistant (TA) at Cheetham Church of England Primary in Manchester.

Across the country, tens of thousands of support staff help make our schools what they are. We are grateful to each and every one of them.

Thanks looking to do a full 360° turn in my life. Just told my Mrs last night I'm considering being a TA to start off with and become a school councillor in the future once I get my degree in psychology.
33yrs old, LET'S GO WHILST I CAN STILL BREATH EACH AND EVERY DAY!
😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
What a good man.
My dad was a teacher which I am immensely proud of 😊
There was a reason why I drove MILES for this school on a daily basis and why I fought to get my 3 children in. They have all left now, but I can not fault it. They go above and beyond. Thank You.
What a wonderful man! He’s so warm and enthusiastic.
I work as a TA and sometimes teacher - I sometimes think I should do something else but watching this made me realise I should stay at it
Training to become a teaching assistant, Ali is truly Inspiring. Thank you for your passion and honesty 🙂
I start as a TA next week after the half term and can’t wait! Worked with schools before externally so excited to take the next step to make this a full time thing!! Glad I found this video as I was a little worried going into the role as a man! Haha
Same here (just started and found this video). Hope your first year has been a good one!

What a lovely human being.
Really helpful! Thank you!!
I'm trying to change career and become a TA. I'm finding it very hard to find anywhere (primary) who will take on somone with no TA experience.
Are you a TA now after a year or?
The best thing is to take a course wherewith you could get work experience that could propel you into work. Your comment has been sometime now however, irrespective of your vision at the time, I hope you have found the career for you.
Helpful and inspirational :) and I love the new profile pic!
Are HLTA's in demand?
