You have mentioned on many occasions about your past before God brought you from where you were in your past life, to where you are today. God saw something so special about you, that he has "REWARD YOU, AND, GIVEN YOU A NEW IDENTITY. YOU ARE A GOOD, AND FAITHFUL SERVANT OF GOD!"
I am so proud of you, I am so grateful to know you, and to have met you at a church conference in Christchurch, New Zealand 🇳🇿 in the 1980's.
I had a similar story to yours, the only difference was, I brought up in a christian family, but I ran away from God, ran from home, "BUT GOD," Showed me everything about being "A GOOD FAITHFUL SERVANT." He Brought Me Home, from the life I lived while I was in wilderness. Drugs, Alcohol 🍸, Orgies, and some evil stuff I did. "BUT GOD," kept me out of prison, and brought me home.
Constantly awestruck by the mercies of God!! So much we cannot understand & yet, the Bible does say that God hears us when we call, & absolutely Nothing is impossible with Him ... "But God" indeed!! ... Being so familiar in situations of impossibilities, reading testimonies like these constantly keep me reminded not to give up as Jesus Never changes; is the same yesterday, today & forever so, Be definitely is a God Who heals even today! Thank you too Pastor Bayless, for never forgetting "the place from which you came" .... May none of us ever forget the place from which we have come, either ... Self-reliance can often follow too readily once we have been set free & had a taste of "me-can-do-it-now fever" ... Well at least, I have often been guilty of it & never want to be independent of him! ... Thanks again, Pastor Bayless.

It is interesting to hear this account of the Central American presidential family and government officials who have received the Holy Spirit. When I think about it, there is almost no president in this world that is pleasing to God, filled with the Holy Spirit, and making a positive impact on his country. Since this event probably took place in the 1970s, one could have given the names of the people and the name of the country. In this way, the listeners would be able to research further or search for a biography.
